Aaron Ramsey spoke of his disappointment at failing to overcome French team Monaco in the last 16 of the Champions League. Aaron Ramsey came off the bench to score Arsenal's second goal on the night but the third goal proved too difficult to come by.

When asked if the defeat hurt more than previous defeats at this stage, the Welshman replied.

"Yes I think so, we've always played Bayern Munich, Barcelona and teams like that. No disrespect to Monaco but we thought we had a real good opportunity to qualify but we've given ourselves a tough task from the first game. We've come here and we nearly done it but that seems to be the case every year."

There is no time to feel sorry for ourselves though, hopefully the players can use this as a positive and continue the good run they are on.

There is an FA Cup to go for and second place is a realistic target. Hopefully Aaron can use this disappointment and continue his good form since returning from injury.
