So Arsene has put all his trust in young Rob Holding eh? What a way to start your Arsenal career. I must say, I fully expected Monreal to come into the centre back position but hopefully Arsene's faith means that Holding and Chambers have shown good promise behind the scenes at London Colny.

In midfield Arsene looks like easing new signing Granit Xhaka into the team by placing him on the bench. Elneny starts alongside Francis Coquelin. I expect Elneny to be the deepest of the midfielders when we have the ball and a switch around when we are without possession.

The attacking end of the pitch is as I assumed it would be. Alexis will continue at centre forward with Theo Walcott playing on the right and Alex Iwobi on the left. I think our attack can cause Liverpool problems, I just hope the team do not leave our centre backs isolated and exposed on the break.

Confirmed Line Up:

Bellerin Holding Chambers Monreal

Elneny Coquelin

Walcott Alexis Iwobi

Subs: Ospina, Gibbs, Xhaka, Wilshere, Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Akpom
