Time to look forward, players returning & Wilshere possible loan?

Nasri, Walcott, Denilson and Rosicky are all playing at about 70% and games will increase that figure. Bendtner, Diaby and Clichy are all to come back and give us more options

It is time to dust ourselves down, wash that dried tear that has been stuck to your cheek over the last few days and look forward to the next game. If we were in March then we could hide under the duvet and cry our eyes out but we have far too much to look forward to.

I still do not believe that we have seen the best of our team this season and I still would like to witness that as the season progresses. Yes that will be difficult without the talented Dutchman who felt invincible before his injury but the good news is that we have many players who have just come back from injury and are still pretty much in pre season mode.

Nasri, Walcott, Denilson and Rosicky are all playing at about 70% and games will increase that percentage. Bendtner, Diaby and Clichy are all to come back and give us more options, more squad strength and that will be valuable.

We look at the league as a mini mountain now instead of a straight, flat race but we have climbed this mountain in the past. Does anyone remember a 3-1 home defeat against Blackburn in 97-98. Does anyone remember when Newcastle were scoring for fun and leading the league only to be pegged back at the death. So it can happen.

Some prefer to say we have major problems, we are rubbish and only 6 new players will help us win trophies and that is down to them. I do not choose to see our squad like that, if that means I am wearing red tinted glasses then I would rather keep them on and see our squad in a positive light. Luckily we all have choices and this is mine. Not to mention I look cool in my red shades.

If we are going to make an impact this season tghen we will need at least one of our forwards in good form. We need strikers who believe that they will score goals. Like I have said previously it is now time for our players to puff out their chests and prove that they can step up as the likes of Alex Song have done half way through last season and this season.

Interesting story in the Daily Express about Celtic wanting to take Jack Wilshere on loan. If true then I would like to know how they would approach Arsenal. ‘erm.. sorry about the whole Eduardo diving ranting that we got into but we were wondering if erm, we could possibly borrow young Jacky boy from you’

I tell you what though, I would like to see Wilshere playing every week for one of the top two in Scotland against (no offence SPL lovers) mostly dross. First thing is first though we have a big game to look forward to tomorrow. The Carling kiddies pit their wits against Moneychester City. How good would it be for our youngsters to show up their first team. I hope Adebayor plays spends the game offside, trips over and whacks his face on the advertising hoardings

I shall write a pre match thingy bob about that game tomorrow morning.

Right, enjoy the rest of the day.
