A very goody eveningy type thing to you all.

Appologies for the late show today, had a bit of stuff to do earlier which restricted my laptopy time.

Thank you for coming to the site and reading, without you reading, writing would be a little pointless. Well very pointless. So thank you for making this part of my life have a point to it.

On this subject, let me take you on a quick trip down memory lane. Arsenal Vision started because I had serious Arsenal issues. I had so much to say and my girlfriend just wasn’t interested, conversations would all of a sudden switch to which boots match which pair of jeans etc. Most of my mates were not quite as obsessed as myself so it was more for therapeutic reasons more than anything else. Not many of you guys will remember what the first AV looked like, basically complete and utter crap! I nicked the code from another site and changed the header and colours and it was pretty bland and not very professional. Anyway, thanks to a good mate of mine who is a great designer he came up with this and hopefully will be working on a new one in the future sometime.

Sorry for the total change of subject, but just had an urge to share that with you. ok thanks to Arsene Wenger, I have some stuff to talk about which is oh so cool.

Arsene has had his usual Friday press conference where everything he says he blown up and scrutinised but the press, fans, bloggers etc.

Wenger spoke about several things but didn’t say all that much at the same time. He spoke of the premature sackings of Scolari and Tony Adams, basically suggesting that they did not have enough time to turn things around. As Gooners, we all wish that Chelsea had waited until the end of the season as they were certainly going through a sticky patch, where it seemed that there was clashes in the dressing room.

I suppose it is a choice of sticking with a manager who knows the situation or appointing someone new into a set up that has to learn about some of the players and implement any ideas he may have. Sometimes the freshness of someone new can make that difference straight away but sometimes you do not see their positive influence until it is perhaps too late. I know which scenario I am routing for.

Wenger had his say on the Eboue sending off against the side who spend a lot and think they are a big club but actually get worse over the years. I hear some people call them Tottenham.

“He didn’t sense how far you can go,” said Wenger. “When he got the first card it was unfortunate, but the second one, you cannot complain about that.”

“During the game he had problems in dealing with his frustrations. We want to play a part in helping him to deal with that. The other players want to help their partners to deal with frustrations, but you are also responsible for the way in which you deal with it.”

I do not wish to go over it too much as we have been here already but we have to be careful not to castigate him for it. His behaviour was ridiculous and you would expect him to know better but we have to remember that Van Persie got a much slighter verbal punishment after the Stoke City defeat away from home. Before you say it, the quality is clearly much different but that is not the question, it is the act, it is to cause your team to go down to ten men and have to fight against an extra few inches of reach against you.

I am interested to know when Wenger decides to put him back into the team. He suffers only a one match ban which will be on Monday night and our next league match is Sunderland at home which Andrey Arshavin is back in contention for a spot in the starting line up.

Wenger also praised the quality of ex capi William Gallas, which is richly deserved as he has been fantastic since the whole captain saga. I was undecided as to who I preferred to play out of club favourite Toure and William Gallas but I have to say based on performances it is no contest.

Back again tomorrow.
