A match sharp Cesc Fabregas should be in 99% of teams in Europe. Denilson, Diaby and Song are all doing a wonderful job and they have momentum and confidence behind them, taking one of them out for a not fully fit

Good afternoon to each and every one of you,

Nice weekend and all that? Did you buy mummy a nice gift? Well that’s nice isn’t it.

Now lets get on with the footie shall we? Firstly sorry for the slight delay.

The win at Newcastle was great and I am still somewhat buzzing from it, there was a spell after Diaby’s goal where we were back to our best. Bendtner, Van Persie, Nasri and Arshavin were pinging the ball around so fast that Newcastle could not get near the ball. One move down the right eventually ended up with Denilson and Bendtner both being thwarted was just breath taking. All this without our little Spanish maestro.

There was a debate on the comments section in the Match Review about Cesc Fabregas.

One poster suggested that he would not mind Cesc being sold due to the form of our current midfielders.I personally think that it going a little far but I do feel like he doesn’t need to be rushed straight back into the team, he should be brought back via the bench to get full sharpness before he claims a place in the team.

A match sharp Cesc Fabregas should be in 99% of teams in Europe. Denilson, Diaby and Song are all doing a wonderful job and they have momentum and confidence behind them, taking one of them out for a not fully fit and match sharp player makes little sense in my book especially given our recent results, not to mention that we are the only team in 2009 to remain unbeaten in our domestic campaign.

Obviously a sharp and fit Cesc is an improvement on anything that we have. We have missed his final ball and ability to keep possession in the middle of the park. I think he will score more goals now that we have a more settled and strong team around him.

Cesc and Adebayor should be fit and available for the Manchester City game after the dreaded Internationals. What is the betting that now we eventually have 98% of our players back that some one or one(s) will be damaged during another round of pointless crap. It has taken so long to get our squad fit it wouldn’t surprise me but would anger me greatly.

Aston Villa are not in the greatest of shape are they? Liverpool gave them a bit of a beating. The Villa defending was quite awful. They say that the table doesn’t lie, well I think that is a lie. It is never even, and things do not even themselves out. If we played Aston Villa at the Emirates now we would tonk them good and proper, they caught us when they were flying and we were inconsistent.Luck has a massive part to play. Injuries, form, confidence are what it takes and you need to play teams at the right time.

Question to all the doubters out there. Do you still think that this team does not have the quality to win the league? If we started the season in the form that we are in since Cesc Fabregas received his injury do you not think we would be right up there? Yes Arshavin has made a difference to our forward play but that was never the question. William Gallas has proved himself, Denilson and Song have grown into very good players.

I just have my back up a little because I was ridiculed by many at the start of the season for having faith in this squad. They were suffering from inconsistency at the start and perhaps even the wrong attitude at times but they have proved at least to me that we are more than` capable on making a successful challenge next season.

I think our first team is more than good enough and I don’t actually think we need additions to the first team, however I think we could do with squad players or fillers if you like to right back and central defence.

Do not forget that these are first full seasons for Denilson, Song, Bendtner, Arshavin and Nasri. Next season these players should get even better.

Arsene Wenger also believes in this team as he still has ‘crazy’ title ambitions.

Wenger said:

“I still have hope because I am a little bit crazy,” he said. “Realistically, no [it is not on]. But it does not matter how much chance that we have, we have to get as close as possible.”

I know what he means, I cannot help by hope that Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea go on a mad losing run against crap teams and we win all of our remaining games. It is out of my control, I cannot help it.

Right gotta leave this one short, people to do, things to see or something like that.

Back tomorrow.
