With the players that have played together this year we have had many flaws exposed due to inexperience at vital times costing us vital points.

However, I don’t believe that Arsene intended to play Bentdner, Diaby, Song, Denilson, Eboue and Nasri in the same team this year. Any two or even three is OK, but all of them bar maybe one is too inexperienced for the level we want to play at. However, as they have been forced to play together they seam to have come out of the this quite well, you could say they have been thrown in at the deep end and after some splashing around and a little doggy paddle they are now ready to swim.

As has been mentioned in a Mean Lean post, this team has many players in their first full season. Now we can include the great Andrey to this. Even without additions this is a very good side that can still only improve, I am confident of this. I am also confident of the CL draw. Man UTD have been exposed quite dramatically in the last couple of games.

It is partly due to their false dawn that we have suffered such panic from supporters. I believe that fans see UTD’s depth and think we cant catch them. Well if Liverpool can win the league then so can we. No doubt about it.
