how good is Bacary Sagna? He landed in the Premier League without any sign of a flinch. Shot the adaption theory straight in the face. Yes he has some improving to do when it comes to his final delivery

Howdy,

Yesterday I wrote a My Vision article that you may or may have not read and just after I put it live, I had to go out and then do some work as I usually do. I scanned NewsNow on my phone to see if it was yet live and I couldn’t find it. Strange, I thought. So I waited until a couple of hours later and still no sign on my article.

I contacted them late into the night and I have received an email today stating that it should be working fine, which as far as I know it isn’t. So if anyone did see the article yesterday then please let me know so I can throw my laptop in the bin, even though it is nothing to do with it, it just looks well ard and stuff.

I was writing about how full of bollocks the Sagna story was yesterday due to an obvious half reply to a question without an actual question being printed.

Anyway it didn’t take Bacary long to dismiss it as bull, so good on them. To save time and energy Arsenal TV should film all of the players saying “I did not say those statements in the press, I am happy at Arsenal and do not want to go anywhere.

Someone in the PR department could send it around every couple of days, that would be a massive help to all the players, especially our captain.

Sagna certainly did not seem like a player about to up sticks judging by his comments.

have seen the quotes attributed to me in the French media today and I just want to put the record straight,” Sagna told the club’s official website.

“These comments are not accurate and I’m not aware of any speculation linking me to another club. I am 100 percent committed to Arsenal. This is a great club and I’m proud to wear the shirt. I’m looking forward to returning for pre-season training in July and preparing for the challenges that next season will bring.

“We have a great squad of players at the club and I know that we can achieve something together at Arsenal, my focus is nowhere else.”

*Slowly standing up and clapping*

It’s all about the pride of wearing the shirt, yer get me dow blud!

All jokes and clapping aside for a second, how good is Bacary Sagna? He landed in the Premier League without any sign of a flinch. Shot the adaption theory straight in the face. Yes he has some improving to do when it comes to his final delivery but defensively, I do not remember a better right back at our club in the whole time I have supported my club.

Can we all raise our glass to Monsieur Bacary Sagna.

You can usually tell when a story is full of crap by the mixing of words and non structured sentences, well Emmanuel Eboue’s recent quotes might sound a little clearer than that of Sagna.

Manu said:

“It would be hard (leaving Arsenal), but I think experiencing another season like this one would be even harder, spending more time away from the pitch.

“If I leave Arsenal, I will move to another league because playing somewhere else in England is out of the question.”

That still doesn’t sound clear cut to me but I would understand if he wanted to gain first team football more often, he is not at the age of the likes of Ramsey, Gibbs, Merida, Wilshere etc he is at the age where he should be getting more starts, the ironic thing is that he has probably played as much as most last season but the truth is when our players are fit he is way down the list. I hope to see him at the Emirates next season, he can play in a number of positions and adds pace and power to the side.

So the fixtures have been released, this time it is official. It sure is a tricky looking August. Everton away is a tricky start, hopefully they can start as they did last season. Badly. Two winnable home matches should hopefully put us in a good position to face Manchester United at Old Trafford. Our run in looks decent for a change, lets hope we are there or there abouts when the time comes.

Right, I am off to sort out this newsnow issue.

Bye-d-bye.
