Arshavin is a doubt for the game tonight but could feature which could mean that he could possibly miss out on Saturday. Unless he is completely recovered from his problems then I do not envisage our manager risking him with two games in a few days whilst carrying an injury
I really considered giving today’s blog a miss and perhaps I should have as I am scraping around the bottom of the barrel, my hands are dirty, my clothes are ruined and I cannot find a damn thing to talk about. It is going to have to be a case of while I am here at the bottom, I may as well give it a lick. Let me get off this before it turns into something other than a football blog and we do not want that.
Nicklas Bendtner has set himself a target of 20-25 goals in 40 games this season which if he reaches that will be pretty damn impressive. Especially if he is talking about Premier League games, it would be very difficult to achieve that feat. Not the goals as such, just the playing 40 games in a 38 game season.
Bendtner may find a strike rate of one goal every two games pretty difficult if he is playing in an unfamiliar position on the right. However the Dane will need to contribute to the goals for column throughout the season, his strike rate has been pretty decent at pretty much every level he has played for the club, national team and loan spell.
I didn’t really want to mention them but it is pretty difficult to avoid when there is practically nothing else to jabber on about but today is the last round of pointless Internationals.

Unless he is completely recovered from his problems then I do not envisage our manager risking him with two games in a few days whilst carrying an injury, however slight it may be.
That would of course be a blow to our side but with the likes of Walcott and hopefully Rosicky back in the squad, probably on the bench we should have enough to cut down Manchester City.
ok, I cannot find anything else worthwhile writing so I shall post an email from a reader.

From: Lea Mee
Date: 09 September 2009
I have been reading Arsenal Vision since before I can remember, probably when I was about 6 months old, I am now 48 so its been quite a while, I love and adore your stuff. Thank you for blessing me with my your articles.
**insert own agenda here** I am very pleased with our start to the campaign and the players are growing up and maturing as I you have said before the season started.
Keep up the good work and I shall continue to read your articles daily until I am close to death.
Kind Regards Mean Lean Lea Mee.

Thank you very much for your email Lea Mee, I have not had time to correct some of the typo’s, I shall make sure I do before I publish it because I do not want it to look like I am responding to myself.
***agree with own agenda here** Yes the team have started very well and they look very focused this time round, I just want these Internationals out of the way so we can get back to proper football and not watch Rooney, Cole, Gerrard and Terry. It is enough to make any sane Arsenal fan sick.
