Even with the squad having to deal with nine injuries, we are still able to put out a very strong side, very close to our strongest eleven

‘Ding ding round 2’ the second part in the Bolton Wanderers saga takes place later on this evening. The game is definitely more than just about three points, it is about giving the players a huge psychological boost, chance to look at the league table and look down at everybody else, we are here for a reason. We do not need to listen to pundits, do not need to take notice of journalists. This is a chance for this collection of young players to say we deserve to be here.
With a very difficult run of games coming up nothing less than three points will do. The 2-0 victory at the Reebok stadium will have given the players the confidence to know that we can beat them if we can apply themselves correctly, this will have to be the case for every single Premier League game from now until the end of the season. Complacency must not be allowed to creep anywhere near our play.
The squad is now stronger than it was on Sunday. Denilson and Walcott returning to the squad with Merida missing out, with Alex Song still unavailable the presence of the Brazilian will be vital to the balance of the midfield.
Theo Walcott is likely to start on the bench and hope to make an impact as a second half substitute, hopefully the game will have already been won and he can gather some much needed minutes.
It will be interesting to see how Bolton approach the game, they played with two forwards at their ground, both players important to their game plan but you would imagine that Coyle will want to add an extra body in midfield therefore he could either replace Ivan Klasnic or push him to a wider position.
After Everton’s very effective pressing and high energy game plan, I would not be surprised to see Coyle try to imitate that plan.
If they do attempt to play that game then I think we will deal with it much better than last week. The players have got Wednesday under their belts and nothing beats match sharpness. I still feel that without the disruption of games being called off we would have beaten Everton regardless of their all action game plan.
I am wondering if Wenger will use the squad a little more with plenty of games coming up or will he continue with the same personnel as any tired legs will be rested against Stoke in the FA Cup.
I would imagine that Gael Clichy will be restored to the starting eleven as he needs to get games under his belt and it is now time to rest Traore after filling in wonderfully well. Traore has not been at his best in the last two games but the experience will have done him the world of good. He started as third choice left back and has done remarkably well overall. I will have a wry smile on my face when I see Clichy’s first interception and counter attack, we have truly missed that.
Even with the squad having to deal with nine injuries, we are still able to put out a very strong side, very close to our strongest eleven. Cesc and Diaby are both in great form, the back five pick themselves and our attack is full of flair.
We have to hope that we can escape the match without any injuries to our players, the only injuries I want is to Matthew Taylor. Funny how absolutely nothing has been said about his disgusting behaviour but it was only a few weeks ago that everyone was jumping up and down about a little step from Nasri.
Mean Lean’s Predicted Line Up

Mean Lean’s Match Prediction
Arsenal 3 (Eduardo, Vermaelen, Arshavin) Bolton 1
It has been a while since we sang ‘Say we are toppa da league, say we are toppa da league’, if all goes according to plan then the Emirates faithful should be in full voice. Arshavin is due a goal, Arsene may continue to play him in that wide position which will hopefully allow him to escape his markers and pop up to score a goal or two.
