Nicklas Bendtner is happy to have come through his injury nightmare after spending much of the season out with a groin problem. It is great to have him back in the first team squad, hopefully he can make an impact from now until the end of the season
Well well well!
What a turn up for the books. I sat amazed watching Hull City playing triangles around Chelsea. If I didn’t know the teams and you asked me which team was fighting relegation and which team was top I would have said Hull City look on the way to the title.
Chelsea seem to have one glaring weakness but unfortunately it is a weakness that we are very unlikely to exploit. Every time Hull Shitty put the ball in the penalty area Chelsea panicked and looked very uneasy.
Many Gooners keep telling me that Arsenal are light years behind them, well on that evidence I refuse to believe that. It will obviously be a totally different story at Stamford Bridge, they are much stronger at home but hopefully the extra days rest will give a physical advantage, well one can only hope.
Imagine the feeling in the Arsenal dressing room after Sunday? Imagine how low they all would have been feeling, Wenger doing his best to pick them back up for the next game. The manager telling the players that they now have to win at Stamford Bridge.
There is no longer a question of what result is acceptable, they will now be focused on doing all they can to beat Chelsea as they did last season.
Arsene Wenger and the players would have watched that game last night and it could well give the team that extra boost that they need. Chelsea are not going to play like they did against Hull City and we will certainly not allow Chelsea the space that we presented to Manchester United, so it will make for an interesting contest.
More on that later on during the week.
I just heard on Sky Sports News that the Chelsea coach is prepared to give John Terry a holiday to clear his mind if need be. How very nice. I can picture the scene.
Terry knocking on Ancelotti’s door at Chelsea’s training complex.
Ancelotti: Come in
Terry: Boss, you know that I have been boneing my best mates girlfriend right?
Ancelotti: Sure, I have been following it just like big brother
Terry: Well, I just wanted to know if I could have some time off because I am very very sad about it
Ancelotti: How about a holiday?
Terry: Fully paid?
Ancelotti: But of course, you know we like throwing money away here at Chelsea.
Terry: Great stuff initt fanks.
Ancelotti: One condition John
Terry: Yeh, anyfink.
Ancelotti: Stay the hell away from my house whilst I am training
John Terry is one lovely guy isn’t he?
Nicklas Bendtner is happy to have come through his injury nightmare after spending much of the season out with a groin problem. It is great to have him back in the first team squad, hopefully he can make an impact from now until the end of the season. He must be feeling a bit of the pressure to make the difference. It will not be easy for him as he is lacking game time. With a full week of training he could well be in contention to start at Stamford Bridge.
Bendtner must be well and truly kicking himself as he could have established himself as our main forward during Van Persie’s absence.
I want Bendtner to own Jonathan Terry, treat him like the bitch that quite clearly is
Today is part 2 of the post Manchester United Cesc going to Barca stories. Tomorrow will be day three. That is just so I don’t have to mention it tomorrow.
After missing out on Christopher Smalling, Arsenal have given 19 year old Stefan Savic a 10 day trial. Savic is a center back from Montenegro. He sounds like cultured skilful playmaker, which yes I agree, is a stupid thing to say so I shall move on.
Well, there is nothing actually to move on to, so I shall just move away for another day.
Back again tomorrow.
