Judging by Wenger’s press conference it looks like our injury problem may not be as bad as first feared. I was worried that Cesc, Song, Rosicky and Nasri could be out which would be far from good. Very far from good. But judging by Wenger’s tone
Is it that time again, well it is actually later than that time but is certainly is another entry into the My Vision database. The trouble is, I have not much in the way of stuff to talk about today and I don’t even feel a long winded rant coming on so I better keep this short and sweet.
I have just finished reading through the Andrey Arshavin blog, you know the one with the questions being asked to him. Well I have a question. Not for Andrey but for the people asking the questions. Why?
Why are random people asking Andrey Arshavin about what they should do about their parents asking them to get married? We might as well play Dear Derdrie on the left wing. Surely it would be more interesting asking him some football related questions, no? Or is that just my view.
Some of it is quite funny though. I suppose it is 2010, the internet is massive in this age and we can probably expect more and more footballers to have their own platform like many others including myself.
Back to football matters, it looked to me that Arshavin had shed a few pounds after his injury that had kept him out for a few weeks. A mate of mine didn’t agree but I certainly thought he looked more mobile against Porto than he had been for some time. Since the end of last season to be honest.
We haven’t really had the chance to see consistent performances from our record signing, some games he has been quite dire to be fair but has still had that little bit extra to produce that moment of brilliance.
At Anfield this season he was pretty anonymous yet produced the winner out of the blue. Now we are on the home straight and dropping many points is not really an option, we are going to need the best from Andrey Arshavin. He needs to grab games by the scruff of the neck and decide tight matches or make the breakthrough with either the assist or the goal. Cesc has been doing that all season and it is going to be needed from Arshavin.
Although, against Porto, he strutted around at times when the ball was away from our goal he did manage to produce some key moments for the team. Involved in the first two goals and then played in Eboue for the fourth. So any repeat of that against Hull Shity would be most welcomed.
Judging by Wenger’s press conference it looks like our injury problem may not be as bad as first feared. I was worried that Cesc, Song, Rosicky and Nasri could be out which would be far from good. Very far from good. But judging by Wenger’s tone (I am now a voice analyst) I think that Rosicky and Campbell should be ready and Nasri was not even mentioned as a doubt so I think we could cope with two of arguably our most consistent performers this season in Cesc and Song.
I expect both the Mancs and Chavs to collect three points so it is important that we match that.
I would take another left footed drilled shot from Samir Zidane Nasri like he produced last season in their ground. I cannot envisage a walk over that’s for sure, Hull will be ultra fired up for a game against the ‘Southern softies’ against the ‘fancy Dan foreigners’ against the ‘cheating whingers’
Don’t you just love how our club is portrayed? And we know the culprits who have contributed to those tags, I do not need to mention them again.
‘No one likes us, No one likes us No one likes us We don’t care We are Arsenal, Super Arsenal…’
I am hoping to see Eboue start at right back on Saturday. I think he is in the zone right now and once you get that, you need to continue playing before you find yourself out of that zone. He will be feeling invincible right now and I hope he gives the Hull City left back nightmares.
I have just read that Cesc Fabregas is willing to play through the pain barrier to achieve success with Arsenal. That’s the spirit son but I would rather you got over your pain and performed to your very best.
As it is already stupid o’clock, I must go and do some fings and stuff and more stuff.
Back again tomorrow.
