Ramsey & Wilshere will dominate league in a few years

Ramsey was taking huge strides last season and was visibly growing week by week, it will undoubtedly take Ramsey a little while before he is back to his best physically, mentally and sharpness err ally. When he does get to that level then it will be interesting to see which positions Ramsey and Wilshere end up on the pecking order ladder

A good afternoon to you,

I have finally found the secret to beating Chelsea, I don’t know what Arsene has been doing for all these years to be honest. He is supposed to be the master of diet and fitness. He needs to be on here learning a few tricks.

I played football for my Tuesday team last night (being Tuesday and all) and just before I left to catch my train I ate a massive jacket potato with bolognese and all the trimmings, I felt uncomfortably sick before we kicked off but I had the best game that I have played in donkey’s years, I set up a team mate with a chipped through ball before grabbing the winner with the last touch of the game, a side footed volley high past the keeper. I celebrated by eating Nando’s afterwards.. ouch the pain.

So the secret is to stuff your face full of food and the rest will just take care of itself. Obviously.

Back in the real world we have been given a new set of topics to discuss which is nice, I have had just about enough of talking about our last game. I said in my piece yesterday evening that someone in the England set up should feel some pain if they do not use Jack Wilshere correctly, it appears that Arsene agrees with me.

He doesn’t appear to be a happy chappy and is justified to vent after England’s recent treatment of the old saviour of English football, Theo Walcott. He was treated like a piece of meat, made to play in an under 21s tournament, thrown on the bench then switched into the full set up only for his body to break down, leaving him pretty much useless for Arsenal for a number of months until he recovered.

At 18 years of age, Jack is in no position to be pushed too far, his body is still growing and developing. If you want an example of a player breaking down due to being overplayed too young then feast your eyes on Michael Owen. Whatever happened to that guy?

I am actually surprised that he hasn’t played for Arsenal given his injury record during past seasons. Well to be honest I am not. He would be lost unless he was standing in the penalty area waiting for the ball to arrive.
Like I mentioned yesterday, Jack has to be used sparingly and shouldn’t play too much. If he is to play at both levels then he has to a) be brought off early from the under 21s and start for the seniors on the substitutes bench, given a late 5-15 minute cameo at the end of the game.

Jack’s explosion in the first team has been partly because Aaron Ramsey was not available due to an ‘honest, not that kind of player challenge’ well boys and girls, the young Welshman is soon to be back in full training which should see him make his comeback in November but probably a little later than that given the understandably cautious approach to serious injuries from one Arsene Wenger.

Ramsey was taking huge strides last season and was visibly growing week by week, it will undoubtedly take Ramsey a little while before he is back to his best physically, mentally and sharpness err ally. When he does get to that level then it will be interesting to see which positions Ramsey and Wilshere end up on the pecking order ladder.

With Ramsey only 19 years old and Wilshere a wee lad at 18 you would hope that they will be a massive part of Arsenal’s future for a long long time to come. They have the potential to be anything they wish. It is almost a shame that they were not developing a few years earlier during our transitional seasons. At 22-23 years of age then I am sure the potential loss of Mr Fabregas would have been much, much easier to deal with had he left or should he leave next season.

We are through that transitional period now and we have plenty of players with enough experience in the side, so the younger players will not be made to swim against the tide if all doesn’t go well. Wenger has enough competitions to juggle with so both will get games I am sure. They are both winners so that bodes well for our future.

In the immediate future, Cesc Fabregas is back fit and ready to play. Luckily he is not included in the Spanish squad. Thank god the Spanish coach isn’t Raymond Domenech.

With Theo Walcott looking to come back against Manchester City things are looking up. That is if the eleven players we have going on international duty actually come back in one piece.

Back tomorrow.
