Since I’m not an Englishman, and I’m not living in London, so my love for Arsenal isn’t because of my place of origin or my root, it’s simple because I love the way Arsenal’s play, I love the way monsieur Wenger built this time from a bunch of youngsters who became a world class players. Arsenal are known as a team that play a very beautiful football, honestly I think, only Arsenal that can beat Barcelona :), but this beautiful football isn’t accompanied with the luck, I lost count how many times we lost or held to a drawn by a very late goal last season, the CC final, a match versus Sunderland, etc. And this thing make people talk that Arsenal is a very good football team without maturity, that make Arsenal could be lost in a very last minute, but I think that, last season we

Hi all,
This is my first article, sometimes I leave a comment under name IndoArsenal, so since English isn’t my native language, I want to apologise 1st if my article makes you confused, and for Mike Lean if you think that my article doesn’t pass the standard to be published in this website, please let me know. Thank you.

And this thing make people talk that Arsenal is a very good football team without maturity, that make Arsenal could be lost in a very last minute, but I think that, last season we very unlucky just that.
This condition turn in this season, especially in recent performances, I think, beside we play a very good football – we always play beautiful football – we also accompanied by lady of luck :), how could we steal a late goal versus Liverpool despite we didn’t play so good at that time, and how a very clean goal from Drenthe counted as an offside goal, I think that’s happen because The Lady of Luck smile with us.
So now, if we keep playing as the way we always play, and the Lady of Luck stay beside us, who’ll think that the gap 15 points is impossible to reaches ? before this we had 10 points gap with our neighbour, now we have 1 point ahead them, so why we don’t keep dreaming to chase that 15 points gap ? 🙂
Mean Lean’s Response
Thank you IndoArsenal. Anyone who calls me ‘Mike’ Lean is more than welcomed to post an article. I think it is wishful thinking to expect to close the gap at the top, while I have doubted the quality of the inferiors from down the road, it is difficult to see both Mancunian clubs dropping that amount of points in only eight or so games.
*Breaks out into song* ‘The lady of luck.. is dancing with me, cheek to cheek’ it is about time that we have had a bit of good fortune after these last few years, whether that be injuries or refereeing decisions which I might add isn’t always down to luck in my humble opinion. Carrick’s late clear foul in the box against Danny Murphy proves my point but that argument is for another time.
I think we are making our own good fortune right now due to the work of the team. We are almost not allowing for refereeing decisions to decide games because we are doing what needs to be done before that could happen. It is usually when games are very tight and we are just doing enough to hold on that the intervention of a mystery penalty or a shove into Arshavin’s back in the penalty area can go against us.
Every team will feel hard done by at some stage over the course of the season as referees and their trusty assistants are only human after all, but if the likes of Gervinho continue to sprint back 50 yards to track runners and Rosicky continues to close down the opposition center backs and Koscielny and Vermaelen continue to be the super bestest center back partnership since Campbell and Toure and, and, and!
I agree with how Arsene is approaching it right now, one game at a time. Putting all our focus on beating QPR and not thinking ahead of that. Tottenham have had that advantage until now because they have only focused on the Premier League and you can see by their line ups in other competitions for the most part. Now we can do that for a change.
If we can stay in 3rd until the door closes on this season then we will be in the best position possible for working towards the new season.
Keep going the Arsenal.
