One minute the little animals are dancing in the sunshine, throwing flowers in the air on the open green grass in Indonesia but suddenly the music changes, the skies turn grey in a matter of seconds, lightening strikes and cracks open a tree that was placed only inches away from the quaking rabbit. It all descends into chaos, the music becomes more and more dramatic each bolt of lightening is timed along with sharp musical cords. The sun has been replaced by darkness, the thunder and lightening has stopped and a figure in the background slides forward in a black hooded cloak, creepily cackling to itself as the ducks, chickens, pigs, rabbits and other scared animals lay trembling in the torn up grass.

The frightening floating figure in the distance gets into eye shot, he flicks back his hood and the animals gasp. It is the scary Uruguayan animal biter Luis Suarez.

I haven’t finished the movie as yet and I have missed parts out but without wanting to ruin the story, I am at the part where the evil Suarez has kidnapped King Arsene’s wife and he wants the King Arsene to convince the animals that Suarez is the new Prince and that he has control of the animals, if not Arsene won’t see his wife for the rest of eternity or something.

It may only be a Disney Cartoon but watching it last night gave me nightmares. I find it all rather unsettling in truth and cartoons should never be unsettling. I want to fast forward and watch the ending, hoping that we rescue the Argentinean damsel in distress whilst banishing the evil floating, cackling laughing Uruguayan to Spain.

Here is the thing, I love and have wanted a striker like Suarez since Theirry Henry left. van Persie and now Giroud lack pace to get away from a defender and I love strikers who can skip past players. I love strikers who can make a goal out of nothing when the scores are locked. It is much harder to do that on your own if you are slow.

If I was at the striker shop, I would list all my needs be given a box with Suarez inside and then have to repackage it and exchange it for a similar model but one that isn’t disturbed. I am also a little perplexed with the whole if not Suarez then Higuain thing. They are different players who do different things for the team. Almost like saying my first choice central midfielder is Fellaini but if we miss out we will go for Ronaldinho. Not quite but you catch my drift I hope.
