I personally think that Arsene will keep the same team that drew and should have won at Anfield but this time there will be more support for Adebayor

One more day until the big game and boy am I excited about this. I think I was actually more nervous about the Liverpool match last week but maybe that is because it was at Anfield. We have pretty much a full squad to choose from apart from Van Persie and Senderos. So that leaves Arsene with two choices. Who partners Adebayor is anyone at all and who partners Cesc after Gilberto’s fantastic midweek performance.

I personally think that Arsene will keep the same team that drew and should have won at Anfield but this time there will be more support for Adebayor who was very isolated last week. I expect our goals to come from midfield. I think that Ferguson will try and match Arsenal by dropping Tevez and playing Giggs in a supporting striker position, a flexible 4-5-1 as ours will be. oooh how very tactical and exciting!

Not loads of news flying around at the moment. Adebayor has revealed that he spurned the advances of Manchester United.

“When I got that approach from United, I was like ‘okay, it’s a good team, one of the biggest teams in the world why not?'” he told The Sun.

Good lad, you owe us a big performance me son! He has looked a little out of sorts in the last few weeks. Alot of people have been on his back in recent weeks (no wonder he isn’t playing very well at the moment) and I think it is very unfair as he has had a fantastic season so far and has been instrumental to our early success. Alot of people are suggesting that Bendtner should be played ahead of him and although I think Bendtner has huge potential I think Adebayor gives us more pace and he is also our first line of defence. He closes defenders down and doesn’t not stop running. Bendtner will not do this in the way that Adebayor will. This cannot be underestimated. Especially in a game against Manchester United where we have to win the ball back as quickly as we can because as we have, they have players who can keep the ball.

Back to the predicted line up, I think Flamini will start ahead of Gilbero as he will be fresh. If Gilberto was due to play tomorrow then against Sheffield United, Arsene would have pulled Gilberto off after 70 minutes and brought on Gavin Hoyte.

Theo Walcott will not start on the right wing because Arsene will be concerned about taking care of Ronaldo and Nani / Giggs. Eboue will be the player to drop back and help out Sagna when we are defending. Walcott would be as effective going the other way.

Clichy vs Ronaldo is going to be an interesting battle. Gael Clichy has improved alot since they last met eachother and both players are very quick. Tomas Rosicky will have to double up on him and not allow him space to use his trickery (easier said than done with him)

Toure and Rooney will also be a very interesting clash as I’m sure Rooney would not have met a more capable defender so far this season in the Premier League. Kolo will have to be 100% concentrated during the match as the United attackers will rotate and pop into alot of areas on the pitch.

No doubt that Manchester United will try and stop Cesc from playing by not letting him have time and space to pick his passes. Because of this I think Alexander Hleb will be the danger man for us. Manchester United will not know how to deal with him floating in the hole. I predict that Hleb running at Manchester United will make space for Adebayor to have chances.
