Good news! Arsene does not get an extension to his touchline ban, so when we come up against one of the big uns next round Arsene will be able to use his super human mind power.

So the second stringy boys take on Blackburn at Ewood park. I am expecting a very touch and physical game tonight but I think we will have enough strengthen in the team to deal with anything they throw at us

Diaby, Gilberto and want away midfielder Diarra should all feature. The game can go either way tonight, Blackburn will fancy themselves at home and our lads will be full of confidence.

Arsene Wenger has been speaking rather highly about young left back Armand Traore.

“Armand has gone from a useful boy to nearly an adult in football,” said Arsène Wenger. “I still think he has 10-15 per cent to grow experience-wise and to be completely ready for the Premier League but I wouldn’t be scared to play him. He has made so much improvement. He has matured his behaviour his attitude in training and he is completely a different person.

Defensively I do not think he is anywhere good enough to be a first choice left back as I do not recall one very solid defensive display from the lad but he is only 18 years of age and that should change as he gets more experienced.

I personally think that he would be an ideal left sided winger. Even at his tender age he seems to be able to beat players without much fuss and has wonderful technique. Maybe Arsene is playing him at left back to develop his defensive side skills or maybe Arsene can see defensive potential in him.

Along with Walcott and Clichy, he must be one of the fastest players in the squad and I would like to see him playing on the left wing in one of our less difficult home games with the first team around him just to see what he could bring.

I still see Rosicky as the best player for that position but it would be interesting to see young Armand adding pace and power to our wing play.

I haven’t spoken about Ashley Cole since Sunday.. That is because I cannot be arsed. He is still a quality defender who plays with great aggression but he is a terrible person and is not worthy of anymore comment.

Gael Clichy is clearly a better and more intelligent person who has improved a hell of alot since he was given the first choice left back shirt. My one issue with Clichy though is that he does not get past the opposition full back enough as Sagna does on the other side. Clichy could set up so many goals if he got 5-7 yards further down the pitch on the left hand side instead of crossing balls in from the edge of the penalty area. Sagna has created so many goals so far this season by getting behind the opposition right back maybe it is because he has Eboue behind him but I think it is because he tries to do that more than Clichy does.

ok, lets see if Armand can get past the right back tonight and lets hope the boys can pull off and very difficult away victory.
