Everybody seems to be on Eboue case and saying how awful he’s been but really is he what people say he is?

Before this season I seriously thought that he was one of the best if not the best right-back in the world along with Zambrotta.

He did exceptionally well during the run to the final. And this season I agree hasn’t played to Arsenal standards but he played well in games that mattered like Man Utd where he was on the right wing and denied Evra any chance of going forward that is until he was substituted then Evra burst forward to gift Ronaldo the goal, the game against Liverpool he almost scored but hit the post then Chelsea’s game where he forced Terry out which in truth it would have been hard to crack Chelsea with Terry playing instead of Ben-haim.

He may not be the best winger but he surely gives cover to Sagna countless times and to me when it comes to one-one he is the best because its not often getting past him.

All he lacks really is goals and self-control, the former will come due its a new position for him while the latter since he hasn’t gotten a red card yet isn’t really isn’t much of a problem. So please lets stop jumping the wagon everytime Arsenal have a bad game and quick to make Eboue a scapegoat. Wenger certainly thinks he is worthy of a starting place in Arsenal’s team so lets believe in him.
