Eboue Appology? What about John Terry?

He was talking about Eboue not appologising for injuring John Terry (Can’t be arsed to find the quote) To be honest, I am struggling to find the quote for Terry going studds in on Cesc. God, I hate that guy.

As everyone prepares for Grand Slam Sunday I have to figure out a way of watching the match. I hate missing Arsenal games against lower rank teams let alone a game of this importance. Why? It is my girlfriends birthday and her parents are coming down and we are supposed to be going out to eat about that time. Even Hudini would have problems getting out of that one.

Arsene is sounding very bullish about our team’s chances at the moment, and it raised my sprits for a breif moment until I thought of the many times he has done this and we have fallen flat on our faces.

Arsene is trying to give the team confidence in his players and by putting his head on the line I suppose he hopes his players will have to as well.

“We have lost just one game, and that was under very special circumstances, so that consistency will come out for good at the end of the season.

“If we win our big games and if we continue to be consistent then I am sure we will finish in front of the other sides.

“I cannot imagine we will lose the league if we have lost only one game at the end of the season.

Like I have said, I expect Arsene to revert back to 4-5-1 to counter Chelsea’s midfield trio. We could see Van Persie switched to the left wing with Hleb coming inside to support Adebayor and support Flam and Cesc when we are defending.

I personally do not like Van Persie playing on the left, it cuts down his shooting options and makes him alot more limited. although he does provide a good cross. Eboue cannot switch around to the left so it only leaves Hleb to roatate with Van Persie when we are on the offensive.

Arsene Wenger has come out and defended his former left back Cashley Cole.

“On the tackle, at full speed it’s very difficult to see what Ashley Cole did – but I am not even sure if Ashley Cole wanted to hit him where he did hit him.

“It can be a complete accident, but you can only see it on replay.”

That is Arsene for you, he will defend you to the hill if you either work or have worked with him. Not that I think he deserves it. I do think that his nastiness is his strength as well though. I think Clichy would be a better player if he added that little bit of spice to his game. That little aggression in the tackle. It is why, (even if you do not want to hear it) he was being spoken about as a future Arsenal captain.

While our manager was defending the Chelsea scumbag, the Chelsea coach thought it was suitable to put the boot into Eboue.

Guess who is talking about us again? Our homesick former captain Thierry Henry. At first it was our players talking about him every single day. At first I couldn’t write and article without mentioning his name for 60% of the article. It shows how much our half have moved on.

“I have this feeling Arsenal will win the Premier League,” he said in The Sun. “They are playing well against the big four and I do think they play the most attractive football, though Manchester United have also played some good stuff

“So far, Arsenal have lost only one game and, if they remain unbeaten from now on, it would be very unusual not to win the title.

“Obviously, I love Arsenal. But that’s not the reason why I think they will win the title. I just feel they have the quality.

I was watching a program about his time at Arsenal a few weeks ago and you do not realise until afterwards how unbelievable the guy really was. Our current strikers have a long way to go to reach anywhere near his levels of past years. The Henry of the last season did not do himself justice. Whether it was his back problems, attitude issues or a combination of both it was a shame to see in his final year at the club. Ah well, its time to move on and get our current strikers reaching their maxium poteintal.

I hate to say it but Ronaldo is progressing the way Henry used to. Every season you expected Henry to stop improving and every year he came back stronger and better than before. Ronaldo is still young and that is scary.

Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is not happy with Inter Milan and I guess he will be unhappy with Hleb behind closed doors. Why Hleb would want to think about moving on is beyond me.

Right, I am off to devise a plan for Sunday, maybe someone can come and kidnap me at gunpoint about 3.30pm or perhaps I can be teleported into another world by Aliens. I have to remember which ones I have already used and cross it off the list.

Until tomorrow.
