I have heard reports that Flamini has agreed terms with Juventus but it could be alot of crap so lets just wait and see what happens
Good afternoon,
The Liverpool game is getting closer and we are filled with quotes from players and managers from both sides.
Rafa Benitez claims that Liverpool are coming to the Emirates to win, which I think isn’t strictly true. I think Liverpool will sit very deep and try and counter attack us.
I am looking forward to it but I expect it to be a fairly cagey encounter. Javier Mascherano will be back sitting in front of their back four trying to disrupt our rhythm. He had a very good game earlier on in the season at Anfield.
The two questions have to be, 1) Can we stop leaking goals? 2) Can we start freely scoring after the Bolton clash. Both fairly obvious I guess but we haven’t been doing very well in both departments lately.
Liverpool will be very capable to scoring at The Emirates but it depends on their mindset. I think they will be a little scared play open against us, which is what Toure meant to say. He wasn’t suggesting that Liverpool are scared of us.
Flamini has stated once again that he wants to stay at Arsenal but I would rather he said that he IS staying at Arsenal. There is obviously an issue with the pay and I wouldn’t be totally surprised to see him leave at the end of the season although it would a problem if he was to go because we would have to buy a replacement which would mean adaptation for the player unless Song would take his place. Although he has come on leaps and bounds since he joined us I just feel that Flamini is alot more mobile and gives us that energy.
I have heard reports that Flamini has agreed terms with Juventus but it could be alot of crap so lets just wait and see what happens. We have dealt with pretty much every departure and we would do the same again but it would be better for the squad if he stays.
Right, short entry today as I have a pounding headache. Match Preview tomorrow.
Until tomorrow.
