Interestingly, Arsene has not confirmed that Gallas will be captain at the start of next season. Surely it would not be something to consider if he was 100% happy with his current captain. He certainly wouldn’t have said that about Vieira or Adams before him
Good morning all,
Early bird this morning, early and short infact. I am taking part in the Arseblog 5aside tournament then straight to watch the Arsenal match so I am trying to get something down before I run to get my train.
Most of the news today is about Gallas and the Flamster.
Arsene Wenger wants an end to the Flamini contract saga and he has put a deadline of the end of April to get it sorted out either way. As much as I would love him to stay I just don’t think he will. It has gone on just a little to long as far as I am concerned. It looks as if Arsene will have to look in the transfer window or promote from within. We shall see, hopefully that is a load of crap and Flamini will put pen to paper.

I am unsure about the whole Gallas captain thingy. When the going got tough, we didn’t pull in the right direction. Is that lack of leadership? Or is it just inexperience?
So we face Reading at home today. After last weeks defeat to Man Utd I said that we will probably now go and win all the remanding games and I expect us to start today.
Hopefully we can see a few changes such as Walcott starting inplace of Eboue. Van Persie is also likely to partner Ade in attack.
I predict an easy 3-0 victory today. Van Persie to get back to goalscoring.
Sorry bout the short entry, Enjoy the game and more later
