Inter want Ice Cream Man. Will Kranjcar take his place? (Plus Skills Video)

I think we should deal with both players by dropping them in a swimming pool full of ice cream with weights attached to their ankles and scream ‘If we can’t have them, then nobody can!’

Hello hello hello to you Gooners out there,

It is a sunny day in north London today. It makes me feel alot happier and alive compared to the dark and cold afternoons.

Let me start off in a rather negative tone and then try and pick it up at the end so we can carry on enjoying our day, it is Friday after all.

Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has confirmed interest in Alex Hleb.

Mancini told the Corriere dello Sport: ‘We’re following Alexander Hleb, Gokhan Inter, and Abdoulay Konko.’

That meeting with Hleb and Inter representatives must have been purely coincidence, wow, isn’t it funny how things like this can happen. It almost looks as if some tapping up has taken place. I am not nieve enough to believe that this sort of thing doesn’t happen but I wish we (as a club) would come down hard on these so called big European giants. They should be reported. Real, Barca, Inter, Juventus all these ‘s keep trying to poach our players.

I have had enough of this never ending transition to our team. If Hleb and Flamini both leave then it means that new players (whether they are bought or brought through) have to settle in and find form then the next season another 1 or 2 players are being prized away.

It has to stop. I think we should deal with both players by dropping them in a swimming pool full of ice cream with weights attached to their ankles and scream ‘If we can’t have them, then nobody can!’

One thing I keep reading on certain blogs and forums is that Abou Diaby should take Flamini’s place in the side. I do think that Diaby is a quality player and we are not seeing the best out of him on the left wing but one thing he is not is a player who can play alongside Cesc Fabregas. Diaby is a creative attacking player with skill who would score more goals than Cesc, Hleb and Rosicky. He is a player who should be used to come in for Cesc now and again to give the Spaniard a rest. Abou Diaby is not going to sit in front of the back four, win tackles and pass it 5 yards to Cesc.

It looks like another name entered into the Arsenal hat is Eduardo’s Croatian teammate Niko Kranjcar. Croatia coach Slaven Bilic thinks that Kranjcar is the perfect player for Arsenal.

“Wenger wants to sign players that he likes and he knows they will be able to play in The Premier League,” said Bilic to the media in his homeland.

“Niko made his name at Portsmouth and Wenger knows very well what he can give his side.”

Does Bilic know something that we don’t? I have watched Kranjcar a few times and have been quite impressed with him. He is a right footed midfielder who plays on the left. He has quick feet and has a very good long range strike. The one thing he does not possess is pace. So he looks like another converted central midfield player.

Niko Kranjcar – Skills

Looks like the lad has ability. Obviously it means absolutely nothing, especially as their hasn’t been anything from the club, not like there would be.

If Hleb does go to Italy for ice cream then we could well be looking for another wide player in the Niko Kranjcar mould. I am a massive Hleb fan but we know that he is the most productive of players these days. As important as Hleb is to our football, someone like Kranjcar could add to our goals tally.

Have a pleasant day, Until tomorrow.
