Good morning to you,

Last nights game was a little more exciting that I thought it would be. So it is Manchester United vs Chelsea for the league title and the same sides will be fighting for the Champions League trophy. Urrghhh! That is just horrible. I am not one to get over disappointment easily unfortunately. I am still not sure who I want to win. Manchester to get another champions League on their cv’s or Chelsea to be the first London club to get it and before us no less.

As a famous Dutchman once said.. ‘it’s like choosing shooting or hanging’

Away from the depressing news to something more positive.

As some of you know I put up some interesting statistics on yesterday’s MyVision from Sky Sports.

Thank you Kristjan for pointing it out to me.

That sort of shoots down the theory of Torres finishes every chance he gets doesn’t it? Check on the Stats here

A sort of congratulations to Theo Walcott for getting into the under 21s squad although I am sure he was secretly hoping for a full call up after his impressive displays of late. His time will come I am sure of that.

Infact I expect Theo to have a big season next season. I think Arsene is currently preparing for next season in the last couple matches. Denilson playing alongside Cesc instead of Gilberto against Derby proved that I would say.

Speaking of which, today is no longer April. What is going on behind the scenes? I assume that he is not staying an Arsenal player maybe we will hear about it in Arsene’s Friday press conference. If Flamini does go I would guess that Arsene will promote Denilson instead of buying a new central midfielder to replace him.

You have to remember that it wasn’t long ago when Arsene and fans for that matter saw Denilson as a better prospect and player than Flamini. Given a run of games in the first team alongside Fabregas could see a similar jump of progression as Flamini had this season. Maybe the so called £20 million will be spent on other areas of the team/squad.

Instead of buying to replace Gilberto Arsene has hinted that he could well promote young Jack Wilshere to the first team.

“The next generation is (Henri) Lansbury, (Kieran) Gibbs, (Mark) Randall, Jack Wilshere. I don’t think he (Wilshere) will stay a long time in the Reserves.”

We could well see Wilshere on the bench in the Carling cup for next season. In terms of ability the lad is surely ready for first team action. The issue is physically he still looks like a boy. He will need to naturally continue growing as well as doing gym work but that might come when he is a few years older.

Our favourite chap Emmanuel Eboue has spoken about wanting to make a name for himself at Arsenal.

“I have worked very hard to change my game to be able to play in midfield. Now, I want to keep playing there and keep improving to become a better right midfielder.

“I need to do better and be more effective next season. I want to show the coach that he got it right by asking me to play there. I want to pay him back.”

Like 90% of Arsenal supporters I have been disappointed with Eboue’s progress this season and I feel that he does not contribute enough to the team but what we do have to take into consideration is that it is his first season playing on the right wing for the club and he is still a young player learning his trade. I personally think that he would not have had as many games if a) Rosicky stayed fit and b) If Theo Walcott had stepped up this season earlier in the campaign.

I feel that Arsene has stuck with him during big games not because of his ability to score goals or create chances but to keep it tighter in midfield. He covers Sagna when he runs past him and is physical and quick. He is actually quite good technically as well but he is rash in the final third and often makes the wrong decisions. I do feel that Theo Walcott has made more wrong decisions than Eboue but hasn’t had the same amount of stick. I do feel that Walcott has alot more potential and end product. He is starting to make the right choices now and not just head down run into the fullback and fall over.

Right, I am off to do some work and stuff like that so have a good day, and leave a comment below.

Until tomorrow.

Update: Keith Edelman has left the club after 8 years. So the question is, does this open a door for Red & White holdings? I sure hope not.
