There have been more indications that Alex Hleb is on his way out the club.

“I can officially confirm that a short time ago Alexander decided that he will leave Arsenal and join another club,” he told The Sun.

“Of course, Arsenal and Arsene wanted him to stay but they have accepted the player’s choice.”

I have said many times that Hleb is my favourite Arsenal player technically at least. But I suppose moving him on and bringing in someone who is more decisive in the final third can only benefit the team in the way that losing our best striker in our history has helped the team that is the way.

Bert has called for Arsene to bring in new faces to add strength to the squad.
