Well, it is summer time. So let us start off with transfers. Flamini was a major loss. I have heard a lot of Gunner fans bitch about him and about he was really expendable and I was one of this bitching crowd. But I understood my folly when I saw high lights of the AC Milan game where he was an absolute monster. And in the Liverpool away game in the Champions League we were absolutely dominating the game till Flamini was on the pitch and our tempo waned off the moment Gilberto replaced him. So finding an equally potent replacement is most important. If I had it my way it would be Aquilani from Roma. Roma play an attractive brand of passing football very similar to ours. So he will settle easily. And he will take some of the creative load off Fabregas’s shoulder. Next we need to get in a central defender. A really huge guy like Sol Campbell.

But I would prefer Adebayor remain as he is a seasoned fella in Arsenal now. But I feel we also need a very good to world class central creative midfielder to share the load with Fabregas. Diaby and Denilson are not upto scratch yet. Last season really tailed off when Fabregas was steamed out. We really need to give him more rest.

Now I really would like to know where Spurs are getting all this cash from. They are linked with a host of BIG money transfers like Ronaldinho, Etoo and all players whom we are after. I think they are making up these stories so that they can see themselves in equal standing to the big 4 at least in the transfer market as they are never going to do that in the League table.

And there was also this crap story that Wenger would leave Gunners for PSG. Thankfully he has quashed those rumours. I really can’t imagine football without Wenger.

And finally Euro2008. I am backing Spain just coz Fabregas plays for them. If they dont start him, then sc*ew them. I also want Germany to win coz Ballack deserves silverware but Chelsea doesn’t. So let him win it with Germany. And of course France. But I would have found it my heart to support them more if only their white curly haired joke of a manager included clichy and sagna. I also hope Senderos has a good tournament as he is very low on confidence. Bye now.
