I have been getting myself into a pickle since Flamini decided to leave the club. Then the rumours about Hleb wanting a quiet ice cream elsewhere (Isn’t that joke getting a tad thin now?), now it is the Adebayor staying and going show. Enough is enough, it has dawned on me that we have a manager in charge who has been at our club for a long time now, we have a manager who has created at least 3 different quality football teams.

Arsene Wenger is a manager who can reshape the side, structure a team around whatever players he brings in. If we lose Hleb then he will (eventually) use the qualities that Nasri brings and tinker the side to use the Frenchman’s strengths. If Adebayor gets sold for good money then Wenger will probably bring in another talented striker who will probably be different to Adebayor and will have his own qualities which Wenger will use to improve the side.

It makes this summer a lot easier to digest. I have the faith, I believe we have Neo in charge of our club if that makes me an AKB (Arsene Knows Brigade) then I am perfectly comfortably with that label. Why? Track record. It is simple.

To make us competitive whilst shipping out so many experienced players on big wages and bringing in players on a budget shows the talent that our manager has. I cannot imagine the likes of Ferguson or Mourinho doing a better job in those circumstances.

As much as new signings coming in, I am looking forward to watching the improvement in players like Theo Walcott who now wears the number 14 shirt. I think it will be a big season for Theo and I think he will deliver big time. His end of season form was a big plus to the team and I think he will be a lot more consistent this time round. Eboue was used as the balance for the midfield but I have the feeling that Arsene will discard that physical balance in preference to Theo’s attacking play.

Bacary Sagna will crazily get better than he was as he will have a year under his belt. Clichy will surely force his way into the French side if he can have another season like he did. Cesc Fabregas could well show that he could be the best player in the world next season. He certainly is making a case for it in these Euro’s.

Van Persie is due some good luck, if he can keep that luck then we all know his talent will shine through along with his range of quality goals.

I am very positive about this upcoming season, don’t stress about the transfer window, we have a fantastic squad already.
