Flamini is gone and now we need to find a better replacement. Sure he was a vital member of our squad but he is certainly not irreplaceable As usual we have been linked with many defensive players like Yaya and Veloso to name a few. Plus we have some in our own squad like the aging Gilberto, Diaby, Denilson, new recruit Ramsey and Song.

Some say that our bets bet is Yaya Toure. But that is highly unlikely as he just signed for Barcelona a year ago and his done enough to convince them that he is just as good as anyone is that team. But personally, I don’t think we should spend like 10 mil plus for him because Arsene preferred to buy Song rather than him while he came to Highbury for a try out. Meaning he didnt think he was as good as his brother Kolo to play for Arsenal.

Song was played great while playing for Cameroon at the African Cup, he also played great in the Champions League game against Steua Bucharest but for some reason AW doesnt think he can play 60 games there.

Another solution would be to shift Toure in the middle and buy a central defender to partner Gallas. Arsene wouldnt do that because Toure played there in the beginning of his Arsenal career and clearly he is much better in his current position. So we are actually down to nothing….. Unless Arsene buys a quality player we will be in trouble next season.
