YourVision – Get behind the boys!
Now I don’t care where we sign our players from, I’d back them all the way. I hate Spurs, Man United & Chelsea with a passion, but if we sign one of their players, I would get behind them 100%

What do the following players have in common:
Mikael Silvestre
William Gallas
Sol Campbell
Despite from the obvious fact that they are all defenders, the main point I am trying to make here is that these are players who Arsenal have signed from their rival clubs (Man United, Chelsea & Spurs respectively).

There were some Arsenal supporters who refused to clap when Silvestre’s name was called out against Everton for the simple fact that he used to play for Man United. I thought it was scandalous. The majority of the crowd gave him a loud round of applause (me included), which was very nice to see.
Who cares that Silvestre used to play for Man United? We were crying out for an experienced defender this summer to partner either Gallas or Toure. I know he wasn’t on many people’s list of defenders that we should bring in (this was a typical Wenger signing), but to sign an experienced defender who has won Premier League titles & has participated in the Champions League on a regular basis for £750,000, I thought it was an excellent bit of business on Wenger’s behalf. But yet because he used to represent Man United, a lot of fans are not willing to back him.
If a player is playing badly, everyone has a right to air their opinions. I felt Silvestre was rather sluggish on Tues night against Fenerbache & I voiced my opinions across, however I was still willing him on to perform better.
Our team needs all the support that it can get from us, the fans! Even Wenger highlighted the lack of support that the players are receiving in Thursday’s AGM meeting.
We need to make The Emirates a very intimidating place for the opposition to attend & get behind the boys (all of them) at every opportunity.
