There are many squabbles and rucks at every team, it happens when you get a large group of men together on a regular basis but it stays in house
Good afternoon Visioners,
Horray to the end of another bout of pointless, boring Internationals. I really do detest them but even Internationals sometimes have their advantages.
New golden boy (the other one) Aaron Ramsey made his full debut for Wales , playing behind the front two strikers as he did for the under 21s. I haven’t seen anything of his performance but apparently he had a good match.
One of the strikers playing for the opposition was Nicklas Bendtner. Ramsey’s Wales came out on top with a very good 1-0 away win.
Arsene Wenger confirmed that news for Theo Walcott is not very good. Our flying wide man will be out for at least 3 months. Which makes us extremely thin in wide areas in terms of numbers and quality. Rosicky, Walcott, and Eboue are all out which only leaves Nasri as the only ‘natural’ winger in the squad
It is going to be hard to escape Diaby playing out wide unless Arsene changes his mind about playing Vela out there which he hasn’t done from the start, only when we have been chasing a game has he done that.
William Gallas has been doing his captain bit once again. He has come out and spoken some positive, influential words to all and sundry.
Capi said:
When, as captain, some players come up to you and talk to you about a player…complaining about him…and then during the match you speak to this player and the player in question insults us, there comes a time where we can no longer comprehend how this can happen,”
“I’m 31, the player is six years younger than me. I am trying to defend myself a bit without giving names. Otherwise I’m taking it all (the blame). It’s very frustrating.”
He did say something very truthful about the team.
“We are not brave enough in battle. I think we need to be soldiers. We have to be warriors.
“We have to understand that to be champions, you have to play big matches every weekend and fight. We are coming up against teams who are not scared to play football against us, who are not scared to take us on at our place, and this is becoming dangerous for Arsenal.”
The second part is well said and very true, but why would he have to publicly bring that up? There are many squabbles and rucks at every team, it happens when you get a large group of men together on a regular basis but it stays in house and gets dealt with. I would be interested to know who the ‘guilty’ party is though.
I am sure Arsene Wenger will not be very pleased with his captain once again for yet another outburst.
It will be interesting to see if William Gallas is an Arsenal player next season, either from his own choice or the managers.
