We will have to play better than we did against Wigan if we are to get anything from the game that is for sure. We have to play with a high level of commitment and not play like we are already through

Arsenal have not played that well since the 0-0 draw at Anfield, It is almost like reaching the level against Slavia Prague at home has taken something out of us for the time being. We have managed to remain unbeaten since then just finding enough quality to see off the likes of Reading, Wigan sandwiched between a 0-0 draw away to Slavia Prague.

As we are already through to the knock out competition of the champions league Arsene has decided not to risk anymore injuries to a squad that was hit hard last week from International duty. Emmanuel Adebayor, Gael Clichy and captain William Gallas have been left at home to put their feet up and rest while the likes of Bendtner, Senderos, Gilberto, Eduardo and perhaps forgotten man Justin Hoyte will be given a chance to prove their worth in the Arsenal first team.

The reserve match against Sevilla at the Emirates was pretty much routine for Arsenal who crushed the Spaniards 3-0 without really getting out of third gear. Sevilla came and attacked us as we knew they would do but they could not live with the one touch pass and moves of Cesc, Hleb and Van Persie.

This time Van Persie and Hleb will be missing through injury and Wenger may start Cesc on the bench.

Freddie Kanounte could give Philippe Senderos problems

The Swiss International is just coming back from injury and usually needs a run of games to get himself up to speed, as Sol Campbell had to do when he was wearing the Arsenal 23 shirt.

We will have to play better than we did against Wigan if we are to get anything from the game that is for sure. I think this is a game for Diarra in central midfield, but as he played for France and then against Wigan I don’t think he will be pushed to play another game so soon. Flamini maybe the player to put pressure on the ball from the midfield.

I have got some predictions right so far this season and I hope this one is incorrect but I think with a reshuffled side we will look a bit dysfunctional as we were against Wigan and Sevilla will win the game 1-0
