Arshavin deal..off,on,off,on oh he’s off to Spain

My favourite news of the day which made me switch off from a phone conversation that I was having was the return to light training of Czech playmaker Tomas Rosicky

A slightly later My Vision blog today, this is due to a broken laptop charger, lack of time and a match report to write. A rather short match report at that.

So what of the match yesterday? It wasn’t the greatest performance in the world but we got a draw and have a good chance to beat them at home. I was shocked by the response on other blogs and forums as if the world had caved in, maybe its just me but I just cannot understand the hysterical reaction to every result that doesn’t end with us winning.

We are clearly better than we showed but we didn’t lose the game and are still going through our unbeaten run. The longer that goes on the better for the confidence of the squad.

My favourite news of the day which made me switch off from a phone conversation that I was having was the return to light training of Czech playmaker Tomas Rosicky.

Rosicky’s agent Pavel Paska had been speaking about his client’s return to training.

“It is a huge and positive advance in his situation as well as a hope that Tomas’ uneasy injury spell will end,”

If this is the case then it is a huge boost to the team. The sooner he can join in with the others the better. Emmanuel Eboue has received much criticism this season with many fans asking the question as to why Wenger is playing him. The truth is that it would be unlikely that Eboue would be playing as much had Walcott and Rosicky been fit, two players that the manager would have trusted to have been fit for this critical part of the season.

I want to ask those fans to calm down because our players are slowly returning from injury, hopefully the team can remain in this good run of results until they can back into the squad. Then we will be talking business. Remember 6 points isn’t that big a gap.

I have had a weekend without talking about him so I think I can manage a few lines.

Andrei Arshavin is apparently closer to a move to Arsenal (are they talking millimetres here?) according to someone somewhere, sorry can’t be arsed to find out where right now, but the Zenit board are talking over yet another bid from Arsenal which they are going to accept because they want to stop all this crap now. That last bit was me, sorry.

What is quite deafening is the silence coming out from Zenit St Petersburg which says plenty. I think the Arsenal team have flown out to Russia and slapped the Zenit officials and told them in a rather harsh voice ‘shut your mouth, or there will be trouble’

Had the talks broken down properly then you could be sure that Zenit would be screaming from rooftops to get attention on a player that they need to let go.

Arshavin is currently waiting patiently for a response from his lovely affectionate club because they want the best thing for him of course.

“I’m waiting for a final decision,” Arshavin told Russian newspaper Sport Express.

“The talks don’t depend on me. I haven’t been in touch with the club management, so I haven’t heard a clear ‘yes’ or ‘no’ yet.”

My sister (who knows nothing about football whatsoever) guessed that the deal would be completed at 2pm tomorrow just to shut me up so that is what I am going to hold onto.

Oh yeah, Skrtel says that Arshavin prefers Spain so that means he is now off to Spain according to all the tabloid and shitty websites. Arshavin has already said that Barcelona was his dream club so it is hardly excusive stuff is it?

I was going to talk about Real Madrid and Arsene Wenger but seriously, it is a waste of my time writing it as much as it is a waste of your time reading it. It is more productive for both of us to read me talking about how unproductive it would be to write about it, seriously.

Richards to Arsenal? Its not true and why the massive slash in price? Who made that price up? I would like to ask them why they decided to add that into their story, was it to make it sound more realistic? Maybe Manchester City need the funds so they just want him off their wage bill. yeah, that has got to be the one.

I do wonder if Arsene will bring anyone else apart from our 2pm signing into the club. If so I do not imagine they will be of use this season. By that I mean that I expect him to bring in a few starlets to add to the list of the ones we have. For those who are praying for a central midfielder, don’t get your hopes up, I do not think he will do it. I think he may have his eye on someone for the summer, having said that, I do not expect anyone to come in and replace Denilson. He has been very impressive in recent weeks and is obviously on the up. A mostly fully fit team around him could bring out the best of him for this end of campaign and start of next season.

Oh before I go, can I just have a laugh at the fantastic way Tottenham are running their joke of a football club. Sell their players then get a new manager to buy them back for more expensive hahahahahahaa!!! I love Tottenham sometimes.

Back normal time tomorrow.
