I feel a little more normal now, which is nice. I have never been as nervous before and during a match before. I now understand how some people have heart attacks during matches.

Did you see Cesc mouthing off to Ferdinand after we got the second goal? Quality!

Giving credit where credit is due, I thought the Manchester United second goal was quality. The vision and pass by Saha was very Dennis Bergkamp like and a great run from Evra.

I wasn’t best pleased to see Hleb being replaced as I thought he had a good game.

Will Arsene play 4-4-2 against any of the big boys this year? We do not seem good enough in the last third playing just Adebayor by himself. Would Arsene have played 4-4-2 if Van Persie was fit? Or would he have played Robin out wide?

Can you believe how bad the referee was? I could not believe how many bad decisions one human being could give in the space of 90 minutes. I know it is a difficult job and you cannot please everyone at the same time but when you cannot please anyone then you know you are a fat steaming pile of turd (with a cherry on top)

Gallas hailed his side’s teamwork and told Sky Sports: “We had to fight. We said if we had to die we would die together on that field.

William Gallas is now starting to show the form that made him such a good defender at Chelsea. If he can continue to keep off the injury table then we will be strong at the back. He was very unlucky with the own goal because he did well to get a block in on Rooney.

We need to get back on track by beating the lesser sides because those are the games where we can build up our points total.
