That is a load of crap thanks to International week. There was another exciting England friendly played against Austria last night. (*) Peter Crouch grabbed the winner and guess who is injured again? Go on, have a guess.

It was lovely to see our dear old friend Alex Manninger make some impressive saves as well. I will always think very highly of him after his performances for us in 1998.

England Under 21’s were also in action against Bulgaria unders. Theo Walcott was awarded the man of the match, which can only be good news for Arsenal fans. I didn’t actually watch the match so I cannot comment much about his performance but I do know that he won the penalty and wanted to take it but James Milner took it instead. Theo should have given him a roundhouse to the head. That is quite annoying really. If Milner won the kick then I would be able to understand but Theo won it, move over. Theo needs to be a bit nastier. He should speak to John Hartson and have a lovely little England under 21’s training session with Milner. For those who don’t understand what I mean

Speaking of people not knowing what I mean. I was called a racist prick and a cunt for my article yesterday *sigh* I thought sarcasm was a well known thing but obviously not. Back to Arsenal matters. Jens Lehmann is back in the headlines again. He has been claiming that he has had offers from other clubs, but has also hinted that he may be prepared to stay at Arsenal.

“You can boil it all down to one question: Is the other goalkeeper better than me? If not, why am I not playing? said the mad and crazy one.

Is he the better keeper? Yes. Has he won titles and trophies? Yes. So what is the problem? A stinking attitude. That is the reason why he is still out of the side in my eyes. When he was dropped, if he said something along the lines of.

Almunia is a good keeper and has his chance but I am going to work hard to grab my place back because I have faith and confidence in my ability

Then I think he would be back in the Arsenal side by now, its as simple as that. All he has done since he has been out is critise his teammate (Almunia) and it is not the way to behave at Arsenal football club.

Another unhappy fella has been chatting away to the French press.

As regular readers know, I am a big Diarra fan and hope that he does get his chance because he is a fantastic talent with real bite and grit. Do I prefer him over Flamini? If I am honest.. yes. But on current form Flamini has been superb. He had another wonderful match against Reading and shouldn’t be dropped on current form.

At least there is one player who is happy at Arsenal right now, and that is the injury prone Czech maestro Tomas Rosicky. Tomas was responding to the rumours that Inter Milan are after his signature.

“I know nothing about that. On that matter, I can only say that I am absolutely content at Arsenal and I would like to stay there,” he told iDnes.cz.

I love lil Rosicky, we really have not seen the best of the poor guy who just needs Senderos to sneeze at him and he will fall to the floor with a sprained right little toe which will see him miss 2 weeks of action. I really rate him and know that his influence can easily match that of Hleb and even Cesc on his day. I will write a little piece about him when I find sometime.

Steve Bould has responded to all the talk on English talent.

“What’s important is that we are getting a lot of good kids in and it is a big bonus that lots of them are English and I have to say that they are very, very good players.

Liam Brady and Bouldy have done great jobs at the club bringing through talent and England can only be successful when other clubs in the Premier league take a leaf out of Arsenals books and teach young kids to pass and move from an early age and not just to hit it long down the line.

Have you seen this Adriano rumours doing the rounds? Do you wanna know my view on it? No? Well you will anyway. Its a load of stringy, smelly cats poo. That is what it is. Arsene could have taken Adriano on loan and did not want to do it. This will certainly not happen. Arsene likes his forwards to run and actually move around the pitch. Adriano doesn’t do this. Some team will pay him loads of money and he will score a few goals but will not put any work in. Now switch Adriano’s name for Robinho then I am interested in talking! not that it will do any good but I will like to talk about that. But Capello was sacked so that blew our chances of getting him. Ah well, such is life.
