So here we go again, it is time to tuck away the Roma match in the filing cabinet that is marked history, we now look on our desk that has an empty Blackburn Rovers envelope on it.

The players gave their all against Roma so you can be sure that Wenger will rotate his squad about. The problem as always is trying to keep a balance between freshness and quality. Our squad is in a good position at the moment due to most of our squad players being full of confidence. Think back to Song’s performance against Burnley, Eboue’s goal, Bendtner’s brace at West Brom, Vela’s chip etc

So hopefully whichever side Wenger does plump for they should have enough ability to see off Blackburn.

It will be interesting to see what type of tactics Blackburn adopt this afternoon. We haven’t really overcome the parked bus syndrome that has recently haunted us. We beat West Brom who came to play, Burnley were blasted out of the water as they tried to match us and Roma matched us for most of the game on Wednesday.

I hope that Theo Walcott will start the game along with Arshavin which will give us plenty of pace and ability to stretch the opposition.

I guess the team is anyone’s guess. Djourou should come in but we are not sure who will make way, I have gone for the older Gallas. Vela could well start in place of Van Persie. What is certain is that Arshavin should start and hopefully his freshness will help the side. The early goal is very important as it always is these days.
