I expect our big guns who were rested against Hull Shity to be back in the team. Nasri, Bendtner, Clichy and Kolo Toure should all return to the starting line up. It will be interesting to see who takes the place of Theo Walcott
Hurray for actual football matches. El Hadji Diouf, Sam Allardyce, Phil Brown, The Press, Brian Horton can all be pushed over our mental cliff and forgotten about, at least for the short term. We can all focus our minds on the match against Newcastle. One thing that I cannot quite push away and forget about is the new injury to Theo Walcott which is a terrible shame. The funny thing is I could have seen him being the danger man today and I am not just saying that because he is missing from the squad.
It could well be a tricky game today, they gave Manchester United a very good game and could have won the game but for Manchester United uncanny ability to have such bloody good luck.
Manuel Almunia is fit and ready to take back his place as Arsenal number 1. Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Adebayor do not quite make today’s game but should be back after the Internationals against Manchester City at the Emirates.
I expect our big guns who were rested against Hull Shity to be back in the team. Nasri, Bendtner, Clichy and Kolo Toure should all return to the starting line up. It will be interesting to see who takes the place of Theo Walcott. Emmanuel Eboue would the obvious choice but then that depends on which system uses.
We have been using the 4-2-3-1 formation lately and it has been working very well for the team, my question is where does Bendtner and Eboue fit in that formation? You can assume that Nasri, Arshavin, Van Persie will start as the attacking players with Song and Denilson sitting behind them. Eboue gives you a balance on the right along with more defensive capabilities but Bendtner has been playing well lately and is improving. The rest of the team picks itself.
Arsene Wenger has changed his mind on the inclusion of Eduardo, probably linked to Walcott being out, so he should take up a place on the Arsenal bench.
Mean Lean’s Predicted Line up

Arsenal played very well in the league game at the Emirates when Van Persie showed glimpses of what he would produce from then till now. Van Persie has lost a bit of his form in the last few weeks but I expect him to be back to his best after the International break coinciding with the return of Cesc Fabregas from injury.
Mean Lean’s Match Prediction
Newcastle 1 Arsenal 2 (Arshavin, Van Persie)
