So Nicklas Bendtner is next in line to leave the club within the next two weeks as Arsenal have agreed a deal with up to five clubs according to reports. It will be interesting to see where he turns up. Nicklas Bendtner had every chance to become an Arsenal striker but his head was not screwed on correctly. Look at Aaron Ramsey and his attitude and then compare to Bendtner and hey presto there is the difference. While the Dane isn’t technically the best, he has a knack of scoring goals. If he manages to settle at a club that create chances and he screws his head on correctly then you never know, he may just turn his career around.

It will also be interesting to find out how much we do get for him, not a great deal I’d imagine but he could be a good catch for another club as long as he decides that this is his last chance.

Speaking of players heading out, Denilson had some positive things to say about the club and in particular Arsene Wenger.

“I would like to thank all the players and staff during my time at the club, but especially Arsene Wenger, who was arguably the person who trusted and invested the most in me.

“He always treated me like a son and I have no doubt that Wenger was instrumental in my development as an athlete. He’s a fantastic guy.”

It is rare to find a player who leaves Arsenal, even after being frozen out that does not have positive things to say about the manager. I am sure it has been a big reason in the past when it comes to buying players, the chance to work with Arsene has been a trump card for plenty. The latest being our latest signing Yaya Sanogo.

I was going to say that Denilson splits the fan base but he doesn’t really. Most Gooners think he is/was useless but I gotta say I liked the guy. He certainly had his flaws but I do think he was a victim of bad timing, he could have developed around more senior figures and that to me was key. Denilson was a young player who was developing not a finished product that just wasn’t good enough in the end. Less games, a slower introduction to first team football at this level and you never know. It is not like we have not heard plenty of players being labelled as rubbish and not good enough before going on to condemn those thoughts to history.

Hey that is just my opinion, you don’t need to jump on those views, I know you are itching to.

There was something I wanted to tell you about recently but I kept forgetting to write about it. Gooner TL wrote a Your Vision article on Fellaini joining Arsenal, worth checking out. There seems to be an issue with the submission section on the site so if you do want to write then submit the usual way but copy and paste that mofo in the contact section just to make sure that I get it.

There isn’t a great deal of daily news about the Arsenal so I would more than welcome some other opinions, thoughts, views etc.

That is about that,

’till tomorrow.
