Your Vision – When the Lady of Luck smile to us

Since I'm not an Englishman, and I'm not living in London, so my love for Arsenal isn't because of my place of origin or my root, it's simple because I love the way Arsenal's play, I love the way monsieur Wenger built this time from a bunch of youngsters who became a world class players. Arsenal are known as a team that play a very beautiful football, honestly I think, only Arsenal that can beat Barcelona :), but this beautiful football isn't accompanied with the luck, I lost count how many times we lost or held to a drawn by a very late goal last season, the CC final, a match versus Sunderland, etc. And this thing make people talk that Arsenal is a very good football team without maturity, that make Arsenal could be lost in a very last minute, but I think that, last season we

Everton (a) Thoughts & Line Up: Sticky Toffees Or fan mind games? & Arsenal’s Injury Joy

I watched bits of Everton's 1-0 victory over those lot from down the road and I gulped at the intensity of Everton's pressing game and thought back to previous clashes where Everton did not allow us time on the ball and our game suffered. We have also been pressing very well in recent games so it could be a game of Arsenal and Everton players running full pelt at each other with the ball being left on the center circle. Jokes aside (bad one's at that) we do not play that same pressing game quite the same when we are away from home, the last game at Liverpool is a perfect example. I am not quite

Jack’s Back,Sort Of / Squad Depth Stronger Than We Thought / Diaby

It looks as if we should have another member ready to join the squad shortly. Abou Diaby played 60 minutes for the Arsenal reserves at Liverpool this afternoon. I only managed to watch the first half but he looked decent mixed in with a few flashes of brilliance. The way he turns players and then eats up the ground in a short space of time with his powerful running is a joy to behold. He scored the Arsenal equaliser according to updates on Twitter so that is great for him. I would imagine that the game tomorrow will be too soon after his run

Fabrice Muamba / Resting Players / Chamberlain Rise

A German newspaper is supposed to be announcing where the future of Lukas Podolski lies later on today. I am still trying to walk around with my fingers in my ears but still removing it from time to time to see if anything concrete has happened before sticking my fingers back in my ears again. It's just easier that way

Arsenal Foundations Made Of Different Stuff, Killing Players & Vertoghenn

Francis Coquelin, Emmanuel Frimpong, Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey, Ryo Miyachi and Ignasi Miquel are not gum chewing, half season wonders who will stroll through at the end when the team need them most, and this my friends is why I am more than confident as to why we can close the gap dramatically next season, especially now that it

Your Vision – Jumping on team Diaby..but the train is slow!

In all these, i believe that in Diaby was once (emphasis on "ONCE") a gem. However injuries, especially that tackle pulled him down by the hip & at 26, there's no telling whether he will ever deliver a good performance consistently. A change of post code a' la' Eduardo (but on loan) would certainly come in handy to give him much needed boost if we are to get the best out of him. For now, we could use the extra wages. Robin Van Persie, in his hey days as captain of the treatment room was still much more dangerous than Van Der Vaart and certainly had more passion than the aforementioned Torres. Diaby

Gnabry On Wilshere’s Fast Train?, Park Scores When He Wants & Left Back vs Left Out

Jack Wilshere had proved that he was a cut above the older reserve players and eventually made his way into the Arsenal first team squad after a loan to Bolton and an impressive pre season at Arsenal. Gooners who have managed to watch him have been waxing Gnabry played for the reserves last night and according to reports was the best player on the pitch, a pitch that included several first team players. I haven't had the chance to feast my eyes on this hulking, technical beast of an attacking midfielder apart from a few YouTube compilations, as reserve games are no longer shown live *Grrr* I used to watch all the games when they were on Arsenal TV

Newcastle United (h) Thoughts & Line Up: Play It Again Arsenal

Not allowing Newcastle United time to settle on the ball and pick passes will be key to our defensive and indeed attacking performance. It will be interesting to know who Arsene selects in the wide attacking positions. Yossi Benayoun performed the inverted left attacking role very well against Tottenham which gave Theo Walcott more licence to join van Persie in

Mind What Gap? / Fighting Talk / van Persie / Ryo

Obviously I would rather Arsenal in the Champions League for some many reasons, not least being able to keep and build our squad, as well as having memorable nights like our last CL match. But it would be nice to see how our team would do domestically with the standard one game a week, I suspect that our horrendous injury list wouldn't be so horrendous if we had a Tottenham style fixture list.

Left Back On The Bench, Rosicky To Sign & Squad Pruning Begins

Andre Santos is back in training with the group again which is tremendous news, we certainly missed something going forward when his services were taken from us. He is one of the most entertaining fullbacks that I have seen, especially at Arsenal. What made it even worse was that he was starting to get into his stride, his fitness was improving, he was getting stronger defensively and started to have a good understanding with his team mates. I want to see him take another big
