Tottenham (h) Thoughts & Line Up: Fight, Passion & Commitment Compulsory

Kieran Gibbs faces a fitness test after having a knock in training but hopefully he will be ready to resume his position at left back. With Coquelin out injured, Gibbs would be important to the shape of the side. Vermaelen at left back unbalances the team and with the pace of Adebayor, Bale and Lennon in the opposition side, we could do with two quick center backs playing together. I think Vermaelen and Koscielny would be a very good pairing, especially at home where we are on the

AST / Arsenal’s HUGE wage bill / Hindsight Management

The AST meeting yesterday has got everyone talking, has got people speculating about how we are running the club. It has been understood that Arsenal have got somewhere in the region of £45m cash tucked away in Arsene Wenger's bottom sock draw in his home, I can imagine a crowd of people standing up and shouting until slowly sitting back down in silence as the news filters through that roughly the same amount of money will be lost if the club do not make that oh so desirable

Your Vision – An epiphany plus some thoughts

Yes some players might leave if Wenger leaves, but really ask yourselves this, how many of this Arsenal team are irreplaceable? I would say with the exception of Van persie & maybe vermaelin the rest are all replaceable. We need proven players with experience, we need the likes of Hazard, Canales maybe even a Snijder, no matter how much they cost, and sadly we need a new manager, a new way of

Your Vision – When crap hits the fan, It’s the fans who suffer most

Offering stuff like #sacktheboard and #WengerOut is all good and all, but where are the alternatives? Sack Kroenke? He essentially owns Arsenal! How can you sack him?! Sack the board?! Who will come in? All of Stans men. Then the complaining will begin again. Right now, our best option is Arsene Wenger, changing manager NOW will not help us in any shape or form, you're only kidding yourself if you believe that is the answer. Sacking the board isn't as easy as you think either, it takes a lot more than just a tweet. I know you want a new manager, but AVB took over, and Chelsea are 5th and struggling. Kenny Dalgleish took over and is dragging Liverpool through a

Sunderland (a) – Disaster Week Continues For Arsenal

Laurent Koscielny has just improved further without kicking the ball. We looked less assured when balls were played over the top, we missed Koscielny's pace and his decisiveness at crucial moments. Johan Djourou was often hesitant on the ball which could be attributed to his lack of recent games but he often took one touch too many and it was his dwelling on the ball that caused him to bring down a

Sunderland (a) Thoughts & Line Up: Rest, Rotation & Result Needed

Gervinho is back in the squad which is good news, hopefully he can put his penalty kick miss behind him and bounce back in style this afternoon. I am expecting a few changes from Arsene, some enforced and some rotation. Arsene has said previously that he doesn't like to play the same players three times in a week although he did do just that over the Christmas schedule

Your Vision – Arsenal moving ‘Foward’?

I would say our strongest midfield would be Song,Arteta and Wilshere, it’s a decent midfield but would I expect that midfield to take control against bigger opposition? Not so sure. For backup/rotation we have Coquelin,Diaby,Rosicky and Ramsey, the problem is apart from Rosicky in my view, the others just...Average. Coquelin looks to be a promising young talent, but isn’t at the level we require just yet, Ramsey has been poor in my view, looks like he hasn’t recovered from that horrible injury he suffered, and we at the moment can’t afford to play him over Rosicky. Diaby is just, well injury plagued. What worries me more is the fact that being a team that plays through

AC Milan (a) Thoughts & Line Up: Balance To Be Restored As Gibbs Set For Comeback

Arsene will want the players free from fear, to play with a focused freedom. We will have to have some big performances all over the pitch and not just from Robin van Persie who according to Robinho will be tactically nullified. If the rest of the team play well then van Persie will automatically do well such is the speed and interchangeability of our football when we are at

A Silver Lining To Mertesacker’s Injury, Wilshere, Bergkamp & Transition in London

How does a team that forked out roughly £70m last January on top of what they already had find themselves in fifth in the table? With the worlds sought after up and coming manager behind them, they started the season as favourites in many a pundits eye. It is quite incredible really. The obvious comparisons are that both teams are in transition. A different type of

Your Vision – Starters Vs Subs Vs Sold

So lets get on with the comparison then, we all know  our starters well : Szczęsny, Santos, Vermaelin, Kos, Sagna, Song, Arteta, Wilshere, Walcott, Gervinho, Van Persie.A very good team no doubt, maybe I would change Gerviho for the Ox just because I really don't feel he's a top player. He's direct and has pace but he just lacks composure if Arsenal only get one chance in a very tight importan
