Is there room for Bendtner & Emmanuel-Thomas? & Missing Vermaelen

Is there room for Bendtner and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas in this squad? Does one of them have to leave to allow the other to progress in their career? Essentially they are all fighting for the same central striking role in the 4-3-3. I haven't even considered Carlos Vela in all of this so I am sure something will have to give by the end of the season

Possible keeper pecking order shift?, Gibbs & Robin fitness

Manuel Almunia started the season as our number one and was one of our better players until the horror show against West Brom. It is hard to believe that he is still out with injury after so long and I wouldn't for one moment be surprised to see him depart in January should he want first team football

Wolves (a) Post Match Thoughts: Fabianski, Sagna & Chamakh contribute to grinding victory

We have heard of the need to bring in a keeper who can earn a team x amount of points over the course of a season well saves at Manchester City and at Wolves will have his personal point collection ticking over rather nicely I would say. He wasn't finished yet

Wolves (a) Thoughts & Predictions: Will the real Cesc Fabregas please stand up

The manager has said that we will see a different Cesc tonight and I am taking his word for it. Cesc is our string puller, the player who connects the whole team together, the player who can single handedly split the opposition to shreds and we have not seen him at this best for some weeks now

The importance of Wolves, Cesc & Wilshere’s position

In his deeper position he gets plenty of the ball and his distribution is very good but I cannot help feel that watching Wilshere lay off a first time five yard pass back to Koscielny is a waste of his ability. Of course he will be pushed forward in the future and he is currently learning his trade but in certain games when our passing is not breaching the opposition enough (yes Newcastle match I am looking at you) I feel that Wilshere's drive forward from a more advanced position can help break down teams and open spaces that have been shut for long periods

Newcastle United (h) Post Match Thoughts: Rotation wreck at the Emirates

I can understand why Wenger kept Cesc on the pitch even though he was well below his usual high standards. Wenger knows that one moment of vision or timing of run into the box could lead to a goal but it just did not happen

Wenger’s business is indeed that / RVP back / Keeping fit key to success

We have to hope that the injury roundabout is halted for a long enough period to have play our best players together. If we can get Vermaelen, Cesc, Song, Van Persie, Walcott and Nasri playing 20 games in a row without set back then I cannot see any other side being able to stop us from getting to where we are aiming for

Newcastle United (h) Thoughts & Predictions: Wenger’s attacking decision & RVP may return

I think Jack Wilshere could well be key figure in his first domestic game since we put Birmingham City to the sword. He will have his work cut out with the likes of Joey Barton and Kevin Nolan going in for 50-50's

Shakhtar Donetsk (a) Complacency is a real Ukraine in the Arsenal

What Clichy was thinking about, I will never know. Gael Clichy is a player who I admire greatly, I seem to be in the minority these days. I love his energy, his commitment and his dynamic all action displays but his lapses of concentration like our complacency problems seem to be happening too frequently for my liking

Shakhtar Donetsk (a) Thoughts & Predictions: Jack’s back on the midfield merry-go round

Bendtner has come back in good form and looks sharp. If he gets a start then fingers crossed that he can take it and add to his goals tally
