In today's Arsenal Vision Post Match Podcast: Elliot (@YankeeGunner), Paul (@PoznanInMyPants) and Tim (@Stillberto) talk about the 1-0 victory against Tony Pulis’ West Brom at home in the Premier League. Elliot shares his concerns about Arsene turning back to Oliver Giroud while Paul and Tim reject such fears. The lack of starts for Lucas Perez brings about another Arsenal Vision Podcast bet, how many starts will the Spaniard get from now until the end of the season. All this and plenty more all discussed in this weeks Arsenal Vision podcast

Jose Gaya: a good fit for the Gunners?

“Arsenal 1 Stoke 0 injury time” (CC BY 2.0) by oddsock We’re now midway through the 2016/17 campaign and Arsenal are there or thereabouts at the top of the Premier League table. The Gunners are nine points behind current leaders Chelsea but a new arrival in the upcoming transfer window could give Arsene Wenger’s side a much-needed boost […]

AV Post Match Podcast – EP117: Manchester City (a) – A Little Hole In Our Bucket

In today's Arsenal Vision Post Match Podcast: Elliot (@YankeeGunner), Paul (@PoznanInMyPants) and Tim (@Stillberto) talk about the 2-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City away from home in the Premier League. Basically the crew whoop the player and managers arse from start to finish and rightly so after what was an awful afternoon of football for Arsenal *sigh*

Arsenal Ship Lost At Sea

Arsenal are no longer a team of kids. They have title winners, European Champions and World Champions amongst their ranks and still this team lack the mental fortitude to challenge for a league title. On a number of occasions, in both the Everton and City game, Alexis could be seen berating his colleagues for not supporting him in pressing the opponents. He was constantly trying to cajole Oxlade Chamberlain, Theo Walcott, Mesut Ozil and the midfield pairing to put pressure on the opposition’s defence. Yet each time he was left out to dry.

Manchester City (a) Thoughts & Predicted Line Up: Which Way Does Arsène Go Today?

Regardless of how this match finishes up, it has all the ingredients to be an entertaining and attacking game of football. Fingers crossed we can bounce back from the midweek defeat and I hope City struggle without their missing players. A victory at Manchester City would be just the tonic but let’s make no mistake, missing players or not, Manchester City away is a very tough game no matter which 11 they field

AV Post Match Podcast – EP116: Everton (a) – Doomsville

In today's Arsenal Vision Post Match Podcast: Elliot (@YankeeGunner) and Tim (@Stillberto) talk about the 2-1 defeat at the hands of Everton away from home in the Premier League. Arsene’s team selection, subs and Granit Xhaka’s one footedness (is that a word?) and plenty more all discussed in this weeks Arsenal Vision podcast

Everton (a) Confirmed Line Up: Bellerin In For Mustafi

A win though would be sweet as though wouldn’t it? We need to keep up our confidence before our trip to City on the weekend. We may well have to grind this one out a little as I expect the home side to be very defensive in their approach but hopefully we can keep Lukaku quiet and we can find a way through a couple of times during the 90 minutes. I'm picking Theo as a one to watch tonight, hopefully his goal and the return of Bellerin can help him go on another scoring run during an important part of the season

Gabriel In For Tough Test

Gabriel is also a front-footed defender. He often marks his opponents touch tight and is more than willing to battle for possession and challenge strikers on the turn. However, does his prowess for stealing possession match that of the exceptional Mustafi? Doubted. The Brazilian has been waiting for his chance to play and it has come but only through injuries to Bellerin and Debuchy and a decimation of confidence of Jenkinson. Now with Mustafi suffering from a hamstring strain it seems that Gabriel will get an opportunity to compete in his favoured position

Can Arsenal Beat Preston In The FA Cup?

The FA Cup, the oldest competition in British football, returns to our screens in the New Year and all of the Premier League teams will be in action. Current holders, Manchester United, will take on Championship side Reading, with their own former player Jaap Stam at the helm. Mourinho’s former side, Chelsea await the outcome […]

Will Arsenal Progress Past The Round Of 16, Or Will They Crash Out Again?

Following the Champions League last 16 draw on the 12th December, it is now revealed which teams will play each other in the first of the knock out rounds, and the path to the final looks a little clearer.
