Squillaci talks likely to progress quickly, two out? & Unlucky Frimpong

Without knowing anything about the player, he looks the kind of player that we need in our squad. Experienced, has played for his country at the world cup and will provide the other players good competition

Fulham fan reveals Schwarzer strength & Will these blinking injuries ever stop?

I do not really share the excitement or the desire for someone like Shay Given who has been a great shot stopper (especially against us) over the years but fans who have seen him first hand will say that he isn't the most dominant from high balls

Liverpool (a) Post Match Thoughts: Karma Reina’s down as Gunners deserve point

koscielny_1I wondered also if the lack of movement was down to a slightly less adventurous approach from the team, instead performing to keep the shape to prevent any possible counter attacks

Liverpool (a) Match Thoughts & Predictions: Which players will sing the midfield Song?

song_1Alex Song has been suffering with a calf problem and Arsene originally said that Song would be short for the Liverpool game, but he later claimed that Song would be training with the squad and would be assessed

Arsenal to increase Schwarzer bid? but which Almunia would he replace?

Arsene's refusal to speak about Mark Schwarzer yet deny any interest in Shay Given or Joe Hart kind of told its own story anyway. Quite clearly there is a game of cat and mouse between Arsenal and Fulham going on

Wenger’s English promise delivered & Transfers? Don’t panic just yet

That is one area of the pitch I would like to see Walcott in more often. Inside the penalty area away from his marker to allow him the chance to cut the ball back to the likes of Van Persie, Cesc or any of the creative players who have made bursts into the box

Gooners make England more interesting again / Poor O’Neill should step into Arsene’s shoes

Poor old Martin O'Neill has left Aston Villa in the lurch because he wasn't given the funds needed to compete against the big boys in the league. I am look at it from O'Neills point of view

Can Frimpong survive at Anfield? & Nasri’s eye of the tiger

I would not be too worried about Frimpong starting as long as he has experience around him, experience that will drop back and support him when we do not have the ball. I am hoping that Abou Diaby can make it in time for the game, his ability to win the ball, along with his natural tendency to get forward will give Frimpong a nice balanced partner. The only problem concerning Diaby is that he often needs a few games to get into decent form. Cesc is the kind of player who can come back in without football and perform

Now you see him, now you don’t! Whatever happened to Spahic?

A story that sounds more realistic would be the Spahic rumour. Bacary Sagna had something to say about him on Arsenal.com, I read the article at the time and now all of a sudden the story has been removed. Hmmmm *scratches hairs on chin*

Offensive brilliance, defensive shambles.. same ol Arsenal

vela_1Those saves didn't tell us anything that we didn't already know. Fabianski and Almunia could also make those saves, arguably better than the youngster. I wanted to see corners whipped under his crossbar but that just did not happen during the second half which is a shame
