Abou Diaby was a long way from what it takes to become an Arsenal regular against Manchester City on the weekend, although in my eyes his ability has never been in doubt. He needed to increase his effort, his fight and the rest would take care of itself. There certainly was an improvement

I do not condone violence at all but when someone goes around doing that to your team mates then you can expect some retaliation. I suspect that the referee's would have spoken about this and any deliberate foul play will be stamped out
Cesc Fabregas was far from his best and did not impose himself on the game from the start. We did not see Cesc driving from the midfield, looking to make things happen
I would have loved to have seen him in this new system with the new work ethic. Many will say that he was lazy and wouldn't work hard in this system but I can count many Arsenal players who didn't give their all every game
Arshavin has not been at his best so far this season but even at 75% fit he is still one of our most important players in the final third. His ability to spot runners and then find them with decisive passes have been key this season
The most pleasing aspect of the evening was the return of Tomas Rosicky, he started for the Czech's against San Marino and was replaced before the hour. I was fuming at one point as I read that Rosicky had suffered a bang to the knee and could have gone off injured
