YourVision – Possible targets for Wenger to ponder over a long summer
I’ve generated a small list of transfer targets that could potentially be on Wenger’s list if he decides to strengthen his squad in time for kick-off in August

If Arsene did walk away from the club, those who have been baying for Arsene's blood will get a smack of reality right across their faces. The way he has been treated by some quarters you wouldn't be surprised if he was to jump ship at the end of his contract
Wenger sacrificed cutting edge for ball players, he wanted his team to have the ball and keep it. Theo Walcott is the one player who can frighten the opposition in full flight but when the game isn't stretched he cannot keep it.
Arsene Wenger will be asking questions from shareholders today which should be very interesting. Last year Arsene was confronted by some frustrated fans and they were not shy to express themselves so I cannot imagine what he will have to face this time round
As much as Denilson & Song have developed this season , we really need an experienced player there to protect Fabregas & our attackers while easing the pressure on our defence . anyone from stephan Ireland
The pressing issue is the hear and now, the short term. Every fan and supporter (including myself) wants trophies, wants results to our fantastic football. We want to compete for mainly the big two trophies and pick up some of the other smaller two along the way
A strong Centre Midfielder (Hargreaves?) a strong centre half able to mark, head the ball and clear his lines as well as organise the defence (Silvestre was not really the answer) and centre forward to replace Adebayor whose attitude is dreadful
I love the Arsene does not buy experience waffle. Bacary Sagna, William Gallas, Mikel Silvestre, Tomas Rosicky, Andrey Arshavin and Eduardo are all experienced international players
If Samir Nasri is to be deployed as a central midfielder he has to do much better defensively, Anelka brushed him aside and Nasri almost looked like he was casually jogging back
Wenger has clearly seen the benefits of having Nasri in central midfield; however he has realised that Fabregas is much better operating in a deeper role, which is why I have come to the conclusion that I think Wenger is moving towards playing a 4-3-3
