YourVision – Should Wenger be tinkering with the formation?
In recent matches Fabregas has been playing in just behind the main striker or commonly referred to as "the hole" with Samir Nasri playing as a screening midfielder along with Denilson/Song

Many predicted those players to turn out but most would have assumed that they would have played in the positions that they have for 80% of the season
I would have thought Wenger may have rotated the players to try and get back into the game. Abou Diaby on the left, Samir Nasri in holding midfield and Francesc Fabregas behind Adebayor was not working
Phyically Manchester United are nothing to fear in midfield. The likes of Carrick, Scholes, Ronaldo etc are pretty lightweight so that shouldn't be a problem for our side
Talking about our strikers has, however, got me pondering with some lateral thinking on playing formations. If we possess a proven goal-scoring bunch of technically gifted midfielders, do we actually need strikers at all?
What happened to their experience at the Emirates this season when we beat them. If experience was so important then Silvestre would be one of our best players. Talent is far more important
Bendtner is good from in his runs but always make the mistake of leaving the ball behind him when making is runs which always cut short the attaching enrgy of other plays when making the move
I am still trying to understand the reasoning for Cesc playing in the half striker role. My first thought was that Wenger didn't want him to be in the middle of central midfield going in for 50:50 tackles and doing damage to his knee after being out for so long with the problem
Eboue who was having a superb attack game from right back spotted a forward run from Cesc Fabregas and his pass was inch perfect, it allowed Cesc to waltz around Jones and slot into an open net from a tighish angle
Arsene Wenger may have a job on his hands in motivating the players to go hell for leather but to be honest, I do not think Arsene will be instructing his players to do that
