Would Appiah make you happier? / Time to change football
I don't think he will score as many goals as Pires did, but at 21 years old if he stays for a long time then he has a good chance to be as good as Pires

Rightly or wrongly I look at it this way. Personally I think we are stronger in every area apart from central midfield. Vela has added quality to our forward line, Van Persie surely has more chance of playing more games this season than last
I actually think we still have a very good chance even if that midfielder doesn't come in. As long as the attitude is right from the players then we can beat anybody. The worry for me is when we string a few victories together
He is visibly deeper than he was a year ago. We were a better side last season with Hleb as the link man, the ball moved from midfield to attack much easier
The goal was certainly what Robin deserved and his fist-clenching celebration was great to see. Having looked pretty ordinary thus far this season, he shone here. The first period was typified by him dropping deep into the vast swathe of space between the Newcastle defence and midfield
The question that I have probably missed over this week is why wasn't the attitude there against Fulham? What state of mind where they sent out in?
So the CL draw sees us pitted with Porto, Fenerbahce and Kiev. In yesterday's MyVision I commented that my own worst-case scenario would be Bayern/Juve, Fenerbahce, and Kiev/Shakhtar. And two out of those three came true. Bollocks. Unlike our more fortunate rivals who got the likes of Aalborg and Cluj, our Road to Rome will begin the hard way.
Cesc Fabregas was restored back to the line up and his passion along with his creative flair has been missed so far this season
So we blasted away the cobwebs of the abysmal showing at Fulham with a comfortable, coasting and controlled victory against Twente to book our place in the group stages of the CL...
The majority of Arsenal news has focused on two individuals: one outgoing, and the other seemingly not incoming.
