Kelechi Nwakali Signs For The Arsenal

Apparently we managed to fight off competition from a lot of big clubs for his services which is good in many ways. I do not know a lot about him apart from the fact that he is quite rangy with a good passing range. I can't wait to hear someone compare him to Patrick Vieira (again) that will be fun.

The ups and downs of football managers

Despite Flaws, Wenger Remains Seated   Arsene Wenger has the longest tenure of all managers in the Premier League, with a career spanning over two decades. He took over Arsenal back in 1996 and since then won multiple awards, while filling the club’s coffers with hundreds of millions of British Sterling pounds. The last Premier […]

Wenger: Kante Gives Me Ideas

He gives you ideas eh? I'd be interested to know what kind of ideas those are. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Arsenal work on their transitional game for next season. I remember Arsène speaking at the end of the season about how good Leicester City were without needing the ball, and how much of a lesson that was to everyone. A player like Kante is vital to that approach. I didn't know he had such an impressive number of interceptions but you can see just how dominant he is on the pitch.

Giroud never the issue

A lot of prattle about how we need a ‘world class’ forward and how Morata is the sort of forward we need when of course Giroud has scored more than Morata so you know that sort of argument is simplistic at best and fool of holes (no pun);) But Morata would have been a more Wenger-like […]

Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Arsenal just makes sense

Alex Iwobi's rise into the first team ahead of more established players gave us an insight into how Arsene is trying to shape his squad. Many assumed that Iwobi had replaced Theo Walcott in the team when in fact it was Alexis who had taken over the role of our number 14. Making runs from the right to join the central striker, while Alex Iwobi was tasked with adding some extra creativity and additional numbers in the middle of the pitch

Vardy has a choice to make

You can imagine it now, somewhere in Leicester, Jamie Vardy is pacing back and forth in his large house contemplating his future, maybe after of course logging onto the bingo site with Double Bubble game I mean you can’t pace up and down without a break right? According to reports, the England forward has […]

Time to show that times have changed

The move from Highbury to the Emirates stadium was a testing period for any Arsenal fan. The wage bill had to be slashed so we opened the doors open for some special players to walk out of. Recruitment was turned on it’s head after the move, we focused on buying young players with resell […]

Jamie Vardy to Arsenal? I feel confused

Jamie Vardy also brings another positive aspect to the footballing side. Losing Danny Welbeck for such a long time means we will miss his pressing and energy in the final third when it comes to closing the opposition down. Luckily Jamie Vardy brings those very same attributes to the table, and I wouldn't be surprised to see us focus a lot on winning the ball and moving across the pitch as quickly as possible to create chances next season. Having Xhaka, Cazorla and Mesut Ozil in the same team gives us some real cutting edge when it comes to carving out chances

A quick Cech of the back ups

When Arsenal signed Petr Cech last summer from Chelsea you would have been forgiven for assuming that our goalkeeping position was sorted out for a good few years. Wojciech Szczęsny would now have an experienced head to look up to and learn from while David Ospina was a more than capable deputy in cup matches. […]

The Wenger Conundrum

Arsene Wenger must be tired of all this. Every passing season brings a strong sense of Déjà vu as his team once again conspires to sabotage yet another title challenge. While Arsenal fans have grown used to witnessing this time and time again, this season in particular feels like a huge opportunity missed, and one […]
