Thursday Roundup / Hleb 4 Life / Rotation

Arsenal click alot better with Hleb in the side. His role is to make that final pass.

Our strike partnership / Usmanov vs Dein

I think we miss that electric pace and ability than can turn tight matches. Henry, Anelka and even Wrighty before them had

Match Review – Steaua Bucharest 0 Arsenal 1 – Champions Legaue

vanpersie_2Alex Hleb started the match on the left wing with Emmanuel Eboue coming in on the right hand wing. Hleb is more effective on the left hand side of the pitch. He drives inside and can use his eye of the needle passing alot easier from that area.

Match Preview – Steaua Bucharest (a) – Champions League

vanpersie_1Aleksandr Hleb will have a fitness test on his knee that Marc Noble decided to give him at West Ham. Unfortunately Hleb is not our only concern. Emmanuel Adebayor (thigh), Abou Diaby (ankle) and Mathieu Flamini (groin) all have to be assessed

Hleb’s new power leg / Usmanov’s Priority

vanpersie_1Arsene had some decisions to make before the game. Hleb was back in the team and Arsene could have played him on the left wing and drafted in Eboue on the right but Arsene decided to go with continuity and keep Diaby on the left wing after his blockbuster last weekend against Derby.

Usmanov is back/ Scary Ljungberg

Arsene and the current board obviously do not want this clown anywhere near the club its just a shame that they do not have any power to stop it.

Thursday Roundup / Bendtner / Almunia

There is alot of negative talk about Gilberto at the moment and that does not sit with me very well. He was arguably our most influential player last season
