Paulista ticks Koscielny boxes, Bielik will need patience & Walcott comment outrage

Anyway on to the other news of the day, firstly we have confirmed the signing of 17 year old Krystian Bielik from Legia Warsaw for £2.4m. Arsène said he will be part of the first team squad but that doesn't necessarily mean he will play in the first team this season. Players like Maitland-Niles have been part of the first team but apart from a few minutes we have seen nothing of the lad. I suspect being part of the first team means he will be training, eating and learning with the 1st team set up as I am sure a few other youngsters are at present

Creating the ultimate Arsenal inspired kid’s bedroom

Your child’s bedroom is his or her personal space and should be decorated according to the little one’s taste and preferences. If your child happens to be a football fan, you may have to go the extra mile to decorate the room in that team’s colours. If that football team happens to be Arsenal, prepare yourself to deck the room in red and white.Kitting out your child’s room in team colours can be a fun affair for both of you. Think of the joy the room will give your child, not to mention the bragging rights it will earn from his or her friends. There is also the fact that your child will want to spend every free minute in the bedroom, leaving other areas of the house clean and clutter free.

Manchester City (a) – Coquelin, Cazorla & Striking first

t also goes to show that having two strong powerful yada yada yada 'DM's' isn't the magic stick and top hat. Our midfield were tiny in comparison to Fernando and Fernandinho, yet there was only one midfield in that match. Which brings me on nicely to Francis Coquelin. Can someone fill in the blanks for me? What happened in between the young Coquelin flying around the pitch as a teenager, filling in at full back and showing a lot of promise to all of a sudden being cast aside? The only possible explanation I can think of is that the player grew fed up of waiting and thought he had to start for Arsenal or find another club

Manchester City (a) ” A performance that Arsenal fans have wanted for a very long time” – Q&A

The Coq. He’s taken his chances as they’ve come and he looks like a half decent player. Arsene said words to the effect of this in an interview - “Sometimes looking internally can be a blessing in disguise”. I think Arsene bought Coquelin back from loan because he felt he had to and you have to credit a player who was looking at the end of his Arsenal career, that has taken the opportunity given to him with both hands. Also worth remembering that Flamini is basically fit now so today Coq kept him out of the starting line up on merit alone. Arsene has always had a knack for cultivating young talent and I’m glad that he is showing faith in a player that could now go on to cement a place in our 1st Team Squad. There are also rumours floating around the interwebs that he’ll be offered a new contract, if he keeps up this form then I don’t see why we shouldn’t keep him. And a quiet nod to Nacho, keep proving the doubters wrong

Arsenal Vision Post Match Podcast – EP12: Manchester City 0 Arsenal 2

Manchester City 0 Arsenal 2 – Premier League Arsenal will never beat a top side, Arsene will never win a trophy as Arsenal manager, Wenger will never win the league title [to be continued] Look at that score line, doesn’t it look juicy? Manchester City (a) Confirmed Line Up: Ospina keeps place, Big test for Bellerin and Ramsey returns

The team sheets are out at the Etihad and as I thought we have been left with a surprise or two.

David Ospina continues in the Arsenal goal. There were rumours that Szczesny would be drafted back into the side but this was clearly untrue. Arsene is also sticking with attacking right back Hector Bellerin. It should be his biggest test in the Premier League so far. As expected Monreal continues at left back after some solid performances.

Aaron Ramsey comes back into the team alongside Francis Coquelin. It seems as if the young Frenchman has pushed his way up the pecking order. Gotta feel sorry for Rosicky but it is a very exciting looking team.

Come on the Arsenal.

Manchester City (a) Thoughts & Line Up: Fixture timing, Toe-to-Toe & Selection considerations

Enough about them anyway, what about the Arsenal? The squad is pretty much as it was. We need someone to replace Mathieu Debuchy who 'injured himself' in our last match or so they say. His replacement will probably depend on how we want to approach the game. I know Arsène is a sucker for going toe to toe with the big boys and that has been our undoing in recent years but I think it may well be different this time. But I wouldn't listen to me too much, I tend to get all over excited just before a big game. But I'll try to explain, I think we are a team who build confidence based on our performances rather than our results. We could win 5 games in a row, the way we beat Crystal Palace at the start of the season but I'm not sure it

Arsenal in a battle for Gabriel Paulista

Arsenal in a battle for Gabriel Paulista The Gunners are expected to continue their transfer bid for Villarreal centre-back Gabriel Paulista. However, the completion of the deal before the deadline of the transfer window will not be a straightforward ordeal for the club as the 24 year old is experiencing problems in finalizing visa arrangements […]

Per Mertesacker – Arsenal Players Must Train Harder

Arsenal's players must train harder and improve their form if they want to redeem themselves in front of their fans (and their selves, of course) after a mixed start of the current Premier League season. With eight matches behind them, Arsenal is on the 7th place of the League standings - out of all their matches they only managed to win one. According to Per Mertesacker, the team needs to improve to realize its potential.
