Man City Observations – In LIST form
For all those that accuse my on being overly negative (I think justifiably so given recent results) I'll satiate you by talking about our returning Czech maestro. Alongside Arshavin, RVP and Cesc, Tomas is one of our most technically gifted footballers
If Fabregas was playing instead of Diaby, I believe we'd have won comfortably. No question. If we had Nasri or Rosicky's creativity, in addition to Arshavin, I don't see what answer United would have had.
Yeah, I said it. I've made it clear time and time again that I am in no way a fan of the little Brazilian and am never convinced when people try to use his stats to convince me he is even a good player let alone one befitting of a starting place in the Arsenal team
I’m not going to say you’re not a ‘real fan’ if you did partake in the booing. If you pay your money, you should be allowed to express your feelings in any way you see fit (within reason of course)
Alex Song was a standout performer on Sunday (for once in a good way) and no matter how gash he my be usually, I say well done to the lad for a top performance in which he was successfully breaking up play, tackling effectively, starting attacks
I wrote a couple of months back following the Villa abortion whether it was time we, as Arsenal fans need to ask questions of Le prof, of his methods and of his policies if we are to stop going backwards as a team (something even the most staunch of gooners cannot deny at this point in time)
Adebayor gets caught offside for the 3rd time in the match. As the half time whistle blows, I feel it absolutely necessary to google his offside stats so far this season. The results are shocking. The big man had been flagged 31 times (before today!)
It’s been confirmed that Aaron Ramsey, the Welsh WonderKidTM, is now an Arsenal player having rejected the chance to join Manchester United
and I certainly hope he is "The new Ryan Giggs" (minus the dirty belly hair of course) but until I see him in action, he’s just another teenager.
