Match Preview – Newcastle (a) – Premier League
Eduardo could return to the squad but Fabregas, Rosicky and Adebayor will have to wait until after the international break to make their comebacks. Arshavin should continue in the first team, with Nasri returning to the starting line up on the left.
Gallas and van Persie could maybe come back into the side. Vela will most likely start, perhaps on the left to give Nasri a break. Goal-machine Eboue will probably start on the right, with Vela, Arshavin or Theo on the left
if Wenger picked his first choice team we’d have a bench that could include Walcott, Rosicky, Vela, Eduardo and Bendtner. Some serious attacking changes that we could make if we’re struggling to score like we have been in the league recently
Arshavin will probably start seeing as he can’t play on Wednesday. Eduardo and Walcott will be in the squad. I expect the team selection will be heavily influenced by the Roma game on Wednesday
Arshavin will come back into the side after sitting out on Tuesday, hopefully looking a bit fitter than he did against Sunderland. The team won’t be too different from the one that failed to score against Sunderland last weekend
it’ll be Vela or Eboue on the wing opposite Nasri. I know who I’d prefer, but I know who Wenger will select. Other than that it’s probably the same team that stumbled to a draw against Sunderland
Arshavin should be ready to make his debut by starting in this game. It’s a shame that we only got to see what a Nasri/Vela combination on the wings could do in one game before Andriy picks up a starting spot
Eduardo came back into the squad remarkably quickly given what Wenger had said previously, and he’ll probably be in the squad again today. Adebayor is out for a few weeks so maybe Eduardo will even start, although I doubt it
I’ll always take a draw in this fixture, just for the sake of not losing, but we really can’t afford another draw right now. Our unbeaten run is still nice, but we’ve gone from three consecutive wins to three consecutive draws
