Match Preview – Burnley (a) – FA Cup

diarra_1Van Persie is out till possibly the Birmingham league game. Gilberto may return to the squad after illness, Walcott may have aggravated his shoulder

Match Preview – West Ham (h)- Premier League

adebayor_1Robin van Persie is still unavailable, but he is our only major injury concern. I expect that the next time we see him will be in the next league game against Birmingham

Match Preview – Everton (a) – Premier League

gallas_1Wenger may be tempted to change it a little for this match. Not that Everton away is an obvious game to start resting everyone

Match Preview – Portsmouth (a) – Premier League

vanpersie_2Van Persie will be our only definite absentee. Wenger says he’ll probably play some part against Everton, but this fixture is a bit too early for him

Match Preview – Tottenham (h) – Premier League

walcott_1Theo Walcott won’t be available for the squad after pussying out of the kick fest up north complaining of illness. He recovered from his knock against Steaua Bucharest though, and could conceivably make the bench

Match Preview – Blackburn (a) – Carling Cup

walcott_1Theo Walcott and Emmanuel Eboue are the only injury worries for us ahead of this game, and according to Wenger’s comments last week Theo should be ready for this game. Eboue probably wouldn’t have been involved if Theo was available anyway

Match Preview – Chelsea (h) – Premier League

flamini_1Van Persie and Diaby are now hopefully match fit and will be in the squad. Going by Wenger’s most recent comments about Fabregas, Hleb and Flamini, I would guess that they will all be in the squad, pending fitness tests

Match Preview – Steaua Bucharest (h) – Champions League

vanpersie_1We’ve become spoilt by watching our team play beautiful football and winning most of the games this season in the process, but a time comes in every season when we play a bit shit, and you just hope you get through the period unscathed.

Match Preview – Newcastle (a) – Premier League

flamini_1bou Diaby and Robin van Persie are still two or three weeks away from returning. We’ll end up getting them back just at the end of our busiest fixture period of the season so far. Perfect. Hleb, Flamini and Fabregas are also out of this fixture

Match Preview – Aston Villa (a) – Premier League

flamini_1van Persie and Diaby definitely miss this game. Robin has suffered a couple of setbacks now, so we don’t really know when we’ll see him back. Flim Flam should be fit enough to start, as should Clichy. Gallas and Adebayor will return to the starting line up
